Brewed in Zaragoza in Spain. Pretty good colour, fairly impressive head. Looks good in glass...

Oh, and gluten free, much better for your health...and that's true, I am a nutritionist.

Not much aroma...just carbon dioxide.

Wow, flavour is unique and strong. Yet still refreshing. Lots of elements and complex...too busy to write more sorry...Russian and Ukrainian girls about

Enjoying a whole lot of these while visiting Zaragoza...

It's nothing 'especial' but its a pretty solid lager. Crisp and refreshing, it's not really my style but I have no qualms about drinking it. The ratings are unfairly low in my mind, but whatever.

A 330ml bottle with a BB of Jan 2017. Acquired a while back from Aldi. The label features a golden triangular emblem that is vaguely reminiscent of Bass ale....

A: Poured into a pilsner glass. A deep golden hue with light carbonation and some floating sediment. Produces a small head of foam that rapidly dissipates.

S: Aroma of stewed malt with a grainy character and hints of cooked leaves. Subpar.

T: Tastes of stale, watery malt with a touch of graininess. Mild stewed leaves in the background; faint harshness. Not great.

M: Mouthfeel is smooth and relatively full-bodied for a mass-produced lager. Light carbonation. Aftertaste of stewed leaves/cooked grain.

O: Meh - not brilliant, even by macro standards. Lacklustre looks, while the aroma and flavour are grainy and a tad harsh. Body is OK. Possibly a bit stale, though within date. A below average lager - when in Spain drink the wine.

Picked this up in Koh Samui. Generally an average beer in all categories for me. I drank from a bottle, so the color is a bit of a guess, to be honest. The flavor was full and smooth, but the aftertaste was a bit bitter. It was a refreshing combination of carbonation and the initial taste really isn't bad - light hops, hint of malts. I'd have it again, but it is a bit light for my taste in general.

Brought back from a supermarket on holiday in Fuerventura. Pours a clear golden colour with a small white head. Aromas are sweet & malty. Tastes of corn, grass, bread & sweet malt. Aftertaste is dry with light bitterness. Overall a decent enough massed produced beer, one I'd have again if I was in Spain.

Pale, golden yellow colour. Poured quickly resulting in a thick frothy head.
Sweet cloying aroma.
Little flavour with a harsh bitterness to finish.
The colder the better with this one to avoid the taste.

A: Deep golden filtered with soda like carbonation and a floating white head of 1 finger.

S: Malt, a slight astringency, perhaps a hint of paper and animal offal.

T: Malt, apple juice, astringency, wet cardboard, iron, a light bread, some dull bitterness and animal offal.

M: Medium light body, lots of big bubbled tapioca like carbonation, a cling to your tongue astringent finish.

O: Got at Ginko’s supermarket in Kunming, drank here March 14th, 2015. We don’t get many from Spain here so that was a pleasant surprise. As far as a beer its not awesome.

Pours clear, medium copper color, not much head. This is a full-flavored beer with just a bit of sweetness to it.

Served in a Chicago Bears shaker pint glass.

I think they spelled "Amber" wrong... Anyway, this stuff pours a clear brass-straw topped by a finger or so of relatively short-lived dirty white foam. The nose comprises corn, wild rice, hard water, and light sweet vinyl. The taste brings in more of the same, a sweeter, less watered-down version of your usual macro fare. The body is fairly light, with a light moderate carbonation and a slightly watery feel. Overall, this is as bland and unfortunately-everyday as it gets. Its Spanish origins aren't helping, as they're not contributing anything. Pass, and then some.

I have had this beer on multiple occasion in Spain, Morocco, Portugal, and the United States. In the United States I procured this Spanish Beer at Friar Tucks in Savoy, Illinois. Pours golden clear, with average head, some lacings, and average carbonation. Has a malt taste, notes of rice, hops, and grains; it has aroma similar to Budweiser, which fades rapidly. It leaves a metallic aftertaste, pretty refreshing on a hot day, and it won't leave you bloated. For an American Adjunct Lager it is really well made for a big brewery.

Stationed at Rota Naval Station 2003 (U.S. Army)
Morocco May 2013
Madrid/Toledo Spain May 2013
Portugal June 2013
