Clear golden body with nothing interesting on top. White bubbles that disappear immediately. Nose has some DMS but mostly is just like seltzer water, clean as can be.

The flavor is unoffensive and adds a touch of golden malt and grassy hops to the carbonation. Nothing to write home about but reasonable in its low ambitions. So painfully thin, though. Realistically, this is a terrible beer. For the price, as least get some booze with your cerveza.

Pours a very clear dark yellow color with a medium-fine white head that stays around a bit longer than most latin beers, but still fades quickly.

Nose is pretty grainy and has a stale smell to it. Almost smells like crispy, fried plantains. Has a touch of a lime juice aroma, even without any sliced citric fruit additions. For me, this one smells pretty middle of the road as far a south of the border beers.

Taste is fairly pleasant, with a noticeable hop bitterness on the finish. Malts are light and airy with little sweetness. Smooth and crisp while still having a fair amount of flavor makes this one of the better adjunct lager brews I have had. I would easily pick this over a corona or dos equis.

This was the featured "free beer" at the resort in Mexico I just got back from. This beer is nasty...

It comes in a cool little bulbous brown bottle with a cap on it. There is no deposit on this beer for some reason...

The taste is thin and watery, and as it warms up it gets more and more difficult to drink. The carbonation mixed with the watery factor causes it to be spicy with carbonation and no flavor to make it balance. I would rather drink a keystone light than this crap. Got 6 for free every day I was in mexico though, so a few between meals and trips were alright.

i found two bottles of this in a pile of branches on the ground while i was walking around my town after Hurricane Ike hit. Comes in a neato little fat bottle....

pours up a transparent gold color with a little white head that quickly fades. the nose is light hops, sweet light malts, not much else. the taste is bitter and dry. a very different macro lager. very light malts and hops of equal balance. very watered down tasting. dry, crisp finish.

I could see myself drinking this only because of the cool fatty bottle if I was on the beach in El Salvador. Does El Salvador have beaches?

Bought a bottle of this from the bus driver of a tour to the ruins of Tulum on the mainland near Cozumel, Mexico. What a disappointment it was to find that a strange beer purchased in an exotic locale turns out to be a knock off of Bud Light. The eeeevil influence of the US majors knows no bounds, I guess. Nevertheless, every bit as enjoyable and drinkable as any good AAL.

My copy of this brew lists the brewer as Grupo Modelo S.A.B. de C.V. of Mexico. Same bottle shape, and labeled as depicted here, though.

Straight into a small tumbler.

A - clear, light straw yellow. Nice white head, good lace.

S - Light malt, hops, straw. Very light aroma.

T - Not typical Corona type beer. A little deeper flavors.

M - Ok, so same here. Not a Corona, but close. Nice clean satisfying finish.

D - Definitely one I will buy again when in Ensenada, rather than Corona or Tecate, etc.

A-had quickly dissapated after settling. The color was brown/gold

S-Little bit of hopps but not too overwhelming like some other brews I've had.

T-has almost a watery taste with a fizziness to it.

overall-This is probably popular to some people but to me it was just so so.

Well, all i can say that if you wanna refresh yourself this is an option.

Pale yellow with an almost one finger of head, good carbonation. Smell like just little thin hoppy, malty and andddd, Mexico!..

very easy to drink, almost like water and goes well with fritos, guacamole maybe for a carne asada party.

the aftertaste is just nothing...

Great, finally I got a great beer there, in El Salvador. but just in tp. I read this is the second beer in El Salvador in sales. And it was refreshing, I enjoyed it a lot, the kind of beer with good foam, and great bubbling, you can spend a lot of time with this beer with your friends. The colour is light yellow, and the foam disappear very soon almost completely, but it is nice at the first.

This being the style it is, poured the typical ultra-clear straw colored beer with a busy fizzy soda-like head. The smell is just about typical as well, with perhaps a tad of black pepper notes barely noticeable. The taste has a nice bite with carbonation and a very common light-hearted backbone. The mouthfeel is also the usual watery body and drinks down very easy. Not a beer you would seek out, but in the right setting and perhaps with the right meal, it would be okay.

This is my drink of choice in Cabo San Lucas. They sell it in the Costco there. And from what I've been told, this is a fairly popular beer.
The color is a thicker gold, so more appealing than Tecate, Corona, or Modelo.
The taste is very smooth. A little heavier than a local lager. Definitely a good all purpose beer. Great for poolside and in the evening. A definite plus is the bottle. Kind of cool and always has people asking what you are drinking.

Picked up a 6 while in Puerto Vallarta, MX.

A: Pale yellow with no head

S: Actually I could detect absolutely nothing. Not even the dishsoap used to clean the glass.

T: Taste like any other macro brew. No off notes.

M: Pours down the throat easily enough

D: I could easily drink a case a day if it came in cans - no bottles allowed by the pool
