Does Regia only exist in 32oz bottles? Because that's the only format I've ever seen or had them in.

Pours out an extremely pale straw yellow color. You could make a lens this color/clarity, put it on the Hubble Telescope and still see into another galaxy. Head vanishes instantly. No lace, no retention.

Aroma, cooked & canned vegetables, mostly of the corn nature. Mild sweetness to it.

Taste, pretty bland, highly carbonated stuff. Almost nothing in terms of hoppiness. More cooked corn notes, but stays relatively light. Mouthfeel is of highly carbonated water that someone spilled a beer into.

I think this stuff is mostly for drinking with meals, when there is no safe water to drink.

Presentation: Fat 32 oz brown bottle with no freshness date to be found.

Appearance: Pale yellow colour with a bright clarity, quick spritzy soda like carbonation and the head is nearly non-existent.

Smell: Light grainy aroma with a hint of sweetness and a hint of cooked cereal grain, other than that it’s a pretty clean aroma.

Taste: Clean crisp and grainy, light bodied with a thin malt presence. Hops are clean and to the point with a semi-harsh bitterness. Grain is on the husky side with some DMS (cooked corn flavour) from the six-row malted barley. Light sweetness from the malt but mostly a dry beer. Finishes grain with a touch of residual sweetness and grain.

Notes: Off flavours are minimal, what it lacks in head and flavour it makes up a bit for being quite drinkable. This beer is brewed and bottled for the purpose of sharing, their slogan for the beer is “4 friends and one beer”. Lower in alcohol this makes a decent greeting / break the ice beer or a beer to share during a meal.

This pours with a fizzy short-lived head, over very very pale yellow liquid. Nose is cheap and adjuncty smelling, no discernable hop or malt aromas to speak of. Taste is corny, slightly sweet and very slightly malty, with a wisp of hoppiness. Finishes quickly with a sweet note. Spend you cash on better brews because this is just a lawnmower beer at very best...nothing to write home about here, folks!

A: The beer is crystal clear yellow in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high head that quickly died down and left a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface.
S: There are light aromas of grainy malts in the nose along with some hints of grassy hops.
T: The taste has a bit of sweetness intermixed with light flavors of grainy malts and a slight amount of bitterness.
M: It feels light-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I had my initial doubts if it was possible to finish the entire 32 ounce bottle of this beer, but it was actually quite easy to drink and does not any flavors of adjunct malts, tasting like an all-malt American Pale Lager.

Very pale in color with a faint off white head, a little lace and decent carbonation. Aroma is of grain with faint hop notes. Tasting yields malt sweetness and a pronounced sting of carbonation, taste rises to a mild hop finish. Pleasant mouthfeel, finishes crisp and clean. Not a great beer, to be sure, but unpretentious and easy to drink with nothing to offend. It would probably combine well with spicy foods or barbeque.

A: Pours a crystal clear pale yellow in color. The beer has a finger tall bright white head that quickly reduces to a thin film covering the majority of the surface of the beer with a small patch of large soapy bubbles and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate amounts of lacing are observed.

S: This beer has almost no aroma - extremely light notes of grainy adjunct malts and grassy hops.

T: The flavor of this beer is similar to the smell - light notes of grainy malts with some light amounts of sweetness and just a hint of grassy hops that impart a touch of bitterness.

M: Light bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Slightly thin/watery.

O: I love the fact that this beer comes in a 32 oz (1 qt) bottle. This beer is light and easy to drink, especially with the low ABV, and could quite easily be sessionable - nothing special but would be nice at the pool or the beach on a hot day. Kind of nondescript in smell and taste.

This beer is bad, Regia is another in a long line of substandard central american brewing efforts. For sure the bland, watery flavor makes this one good for drowning out hot pepper flames from the local cuisine.

Well, certainly, these Salvadorian beers are not that bad, but the problem is after 4 or five, your stomach begins to feel acid, and the day after, man!, what a acid hangover, if you would have a dozen headache pills and you threw them out.
Any way, this beer, is brown, and has a good shape, the foam is not very great, but you can enojy a good time with it. A little too similar to the Pislener.

On an aggressive pour a very light yellow with a white frothy head. Reviewing to the style, it looks slightly above average and comparable with any decent lager/pilsener. Smell is of light corny malt. Taste starts out a little sweet with a corny flavor but further into the beer it becomes fairly smooth and refreshing with an above average maltiness for the style. Also has a fuller mouthfeel than our typical American lagers. Overall an alright beer in comparison. Most importantly its a drinkable beer in a nice 32 oz , non-twist off bottle which would be excellent for homebrewing, so I may pick up a few more bottles!!!!
