330ml bottle poured into a chalice.

Cloudy amber gold in color with very thick creamy white head, it stays with excellent retention before slowly subsiding to an everlasting fluffy layer on the surface and leaving tight lacing all around.

Bread from malt, herbal hop, floral, honey, and Belgian yeast character of mild fruitiness in kind of pear, peach, and apricot as well as some peppery spice.

The taste is built upon the foundation of bready malt that provides moderate sweetness. Yeast decorates and fulfills with notes of apricot, pear, peach, sourness like an orange peel, and some peppery spice. Hop is there too with its subtle bitter bite and herbal.

Medium body with silky smooth mouthfeel and low to moderate carbonation through the palate, the feeling is well-rounded with a pleasantly dry finish.

Considering not much complex comparing to the other Trappists, still pretty much to enjoy with.

"Best by 1/12/25"; drank 12/23/23 @ Pokemon Communion.

Huge white head; thick, frothy lacing remained.

Banana, apple & clove notes in the nose.

Creamy, medium mouthfeel.

Banana & apple flavors up front; cream & mild clove notes on the finish.

Smooth, rich and delicious.

A classic in my book.

330ml bottle. Date on label for bottling is '12/07/21'.
Three finger pillowing head, which takes a few minutes to get down close to the body. First part of the pour is a partly cloudy body, which increases with the dregs to a fully cloudy body. Pale gold color. Leaves behind rings and spots of lacing.
Aroma of banana and cloves, brown sugar, and a bit of prune.
Taste is malty and expresses dark fruit of plum and prune, banana and cloves, brown sugar, and a developing spicy kick. Aftertaste is long lasting and allows the flavors to blend and balance well.
More than medium mouth feel, with a reminder of stickiness. Higher ABV% is warming, not stinging. Excellent carbonation.
Presents itself as a living beer that has developed over time.

Faintly foggy burnt gold with a tall, lumpy white foam head.

This Trappist (style) blonde is fairly spicy and phenolic with a slight burn and perhaps a hint of anise in the finish.

The cloudy froth doesn't add any heft to the light body.

This was a FREE hotel beer (for not using daily housekeeping) to pair with some Middle Eastern arancini from the quiet little town of Lot after our visit to 3F. I mean, as if that's not enough, they actually provide your room with lambic tumblers? Fucking love Belgium.

11.2oz bottle into a pint glass. Bottled 12/7/21, so well over a year old.

Hazy yellow body with a strong bright white head. Yeasty aroma, full and smooth tasting. Slightly sweet with a pleasing boozy kick to it.

Hazy, burnished gold body, rapidly forming a fine white head with solid retention.
Aromas of yeast spice, coriander, banana.
Big fatty umami yeast flavour, banana chips, candy sugar, lightly spiced; some acidity in the dry finish balances the syrupy feel, as does a fine prickly effervescence and a touch of bitter hops + some pleasant alcohol burn.

While not the most complex in flavour, it's delicious and the feel is interesting and balanced.
