Although bottling date info was printed on the label, there were no marks or hole punches to indicate the actual bottling date.

Deep mahogany, near black body that starts with a thick yet very loosely bubbled head that quickly fades to nada. Chickory with nearly hidden roasted grain scent; spearmint. Mildy chocolate-like flavor with a slightly spicy character; fair hop bitterness. Medium body with a semi-dry finish.

A lackluster milk stout with little visual appeal other than the body color and a somewhat strange, almost lightweight stout flavor. Drinkable and somewhat interesting, but hardly a must-have beer.

A - Pours a very dark brownish black. Small foamy head.

S - Slight alcohol, coffee, toffee, roasted malt.

T - Coffee, roasted malt, little bit of hops, strong milky espresso aftertaste.

M - Medium body, moderate carbonation.

O - Pretty damn tasty milk stout. Smooth roasted coffee with a milky strong aftertaste. Pretty awesome.

Pours a dark black with little head. Strong aroma of coffee and cherries which carried through during tasting. Mouthfeel was silky.

Overall I really enjoyed this beer. I would definitely buy it again as it is a solid example of what a milk stout can be.

The only thing that could improve this beer would be a creamer mouthfeel and a bit more head. I am curious to try this on tap as it might be even better.

Bottom line: A solid beer that I really enjoyed. I would buy this again and recommend to those who enjoy stouts and other malt forward beers.
