Just got back from Disney vacation and need to unwind with a couple of Ten Pin Porters from SKA. The appearance is quite nice...dark rich color with nice ecru creamy head. The smell has a light roast and malt nose. The taste is pretty darn good. SKA was able to get a decent body on a porter without selling their sole to high ABV. There roastyness hits well to start then comes off the pallete clean, but leaves just enough to keep the taste going. The mouthfeel is beautiful for a nice taste porter....perfect for cooler nights. Absolutely worth a try!

Dark brown, thin, 2/5" tan head. Aroma was mostly roasted malt. Had some toffee.
Some hops to give it a bitterness, still chewy, but not thick. Mild chocolate malt. Good porter that is well balanced.

Appetizer: almost no carbonation with a black-red brown appearance; mildly sweet aroma
Entree: smooth initial taste (similar to Founder's Porter I sampled just prior so maybe biased), with less mildly harsh aftertaste, which dissipates nicely / better as compared
Dessert: better than Founder's, still behind Deschutes, and comparable (albeit differing since vanilla) to Linenkugel's Snowdrift.
Each his/her own, so your call.
