Poured from a 12oz. bottle into a standard pint glass. Beer was a sparkling, golden straw color with a two-finger, rocky white head. Moderate carbonation and hardly and lacing around the glass.

Aroma was sweet and lightly fruity. Very light aroma in general.

Taste was sweet, with notes of bread, honey and light malt. Some floral hop notes are also present.

Easy drinking, well balanced, my only complaint on this one was that it seemed a bit one dimensional.

True Blonde Ale is yellow and slightly hazy. the head is minimal, and there is a tiny bit of lacing. some aromas of grainy malt and honey.

taste is neutral/bland and yeasty. a sweet bready malt and honey follow, and some slight citrus notes come out at the end.

the spicy noble hops are very slightly bitter and linger on the palate. ends nice, clean, dry. pleasant mouthfeel, only slightly watery.

drinkable if there is nothing else around. not a bad beer by any means. i like what ska brewing has to offer, but this one just doesn't do it for me.

= taste is mildly interesting, and i would drink one if offered

Blonde ales aren't generally my tipple but I got this one as a sample from a beer rep so it's my duty to try it out.

Pours a clear golden colour. What little head there is soon disappears to leave a few bubbles around the circumference. Very little lacing. A little too much grain in the aroma for my liking, but some pleasant floral notes are present. It has more flavour than many blondes that I've tried - a little on the sweet side with some bitterness in the background, but again with the grain. A halfway decent body for this style of beer.

If you're looking for a beer that goes down easily and doesn't give you a fight, this one would be worth trying.

Poured from bottle into pint glass. There was a freshness date but it had a week marked instead of month. It was a little confusing.

A: Light nearly lager coloring, nice head and lacing. Ridiculous amount of carbonation. I am curious how this will carry through into the mouthfeel.

S: Slight grassy tones with quite heavy malty tones.

T & M: So far in the beer journey blond ales have not been my bag and unfortunately I felt no different about this beer. Taste is heavy malt up front with a crisp finish but not really bitter. Mouthfeel is nearly creamy in its quality, I don't pick up the carbonation apparent in the appearance.

D: Drinkable, but I will not be seeking out this beer again.

Pours a bright yellow with a fluffy white head. The bottles artwork is pretty neat as well. Says it's brewed with honey but I can't really smell or taste anything to indicate that. Not surprising seeing as how you have to really dump in honey to change the final beer. Tastes light and clean. Mainly of pale malt. Slight hop bittering and some noble hop-like flavors. Not bad but not really exciting. There are tastier (and cheaper) blonde ales out there.

Poured into a Pint Glass.

A - Pours a hazy bright yellow, a thin layer of white head, tons of carbonation and some decent lacing.

S - Light malty sweetness, some sour candy, wheat or another grain, and a little lemon.

T - Wow kinda of surprising lemon sourness, was expecting sweeter. Has some candy qualities and almost tastes like a berleiner weisse but a tad sweeter.

M - Very light, watery, and loads of carbonation.

D - Interesting to try and decent tasting, but I think 1 will last me for the rest of my life, kinda of an odd beer but not awful.

A- pale straw with a gold tint to it, little white head with little retent, leaves little lace, with some little bubbles.

S- crisp, clean and malty nose with some kind of fruit sweetness to it.

T- malty sweetness, sweet fruit like taste but i cant exactly define it. Hop flavors in there as well, light, floraly. Hops remind me of a english pale ale. Lager like.

M- light bodied, smooth, with a partly sticky finish.

D- very easy to drink, but wouldnt bother me if i didnt have another. Fits the style, that earns this brew some points.

Poured into a MJ tasting glass.

Pours a hazy gold with a two finger stark white cap of foam. Head is slow to drop. Some lacing evident.

Aromas of grainy malt, grassy, lemons. Yeasty.

Flavors of light lemon, sweet grainy malt. Yeasty. Dusty. No hops to speak of. Finish is short and on the sweet malty side. A little cardboardy, could be past its prime. No freshness date, so hard to tell by looking at the bottle, but tastes like it's gone over.

Mouthfeel is light, good level of carbonation.

Not a bad session beer. Might be better fresher. Nothing aggressive or memorable.

A - pours a clear light golden yellow with a decent head

S - faint nose - I got some grass and lemon with some spices

T - nice lemony crispness that is balanced by some light, grassy hops. Pretty delicate taste with not a ton going on, but it is good.

M - creamy and full - the best attribute of this beer

D - decent beer...nothing flashy or bold, but it got the job done of providing something to wash my dinner down with. Not bad, but there is a reason this sat in my fridge for a while. I've had better American blonde ales for sure. Worth a shot and would be a good choice while consuming lots of beer.

Poured a lightly hazy straw yellow with a small white head.

Smell is sweet with a light orange scent.

Taste has a sweet maltiness with a touch of honey, finishes with a bit of a light musty hop flavor.

Mouthfeel is light and watery.

Not a bad beer, just another average attempt at a pretty average style.

Pours a golden yellow with a slight white head that quickly drops down. Some honey, some lemon zest, some malt in both flavor and aroma. Very simple. A nice medium body to it. Overall, this is a very easy drinking beer. Not the most memorable but every once in a while it can hit the spot.

Presentation: 12 oz longneck. Hipster marketing, with a short description of the beer clearly evident. Bottled on date notched on the side.

Appearance: Pours completely clear and golden with a thin head that leaves a bit of lacing. Light effervescence.

Smell: Slightly sweet and grainy - the aroma is very faint.

Taste: Light grain flavor starts off, and then a bit of honey and malt sweetness. Slight hops in the middle.

Overall impression: Not a bad beer, but certainly not an exciting one either ...

Pours pale golden and very clear. Head is on the thin side with slight lacing.

Smell is malty backbone paired with a nice fruit aroma. Light floral hop bitterness as well.

Taste is on the sweet side. Honey and bready flavors make an impression. Pale malt and light fruitiness provide balance. Finish is mild but crisp with mild hop bite.

Mouthfeel is Light and airy.

Flavors are balanced, but mild. Sweetness becomes cloying after awhile. Hop bite gets stronger as it warms. Fortunately there is a nice hop bitterness, providing a 'beer' taste. I wouldn't seek this out, but it puts me in mind of a decent lager.

Pours pale clear golden color with a foamy white head that leaves a nice lacing in my glass . Light bready aroma, mild flavors of bread and grains, light bodied with a thin yet crisp mouthfeel, good carbonation, it does have a clean finish, not much flavor but a decent session beer.

A- Can poured to a stange with a pale golden blonde body. A cap forms on the beer to just over one finger with a creamy consistency. Head retention is decent as it dies to a small ring and puffy islands. Lacing starts with a thick sheet with spots below.

S- Light grainy base malts, slight hops but quite faint with the yeast bringing pale fruits like apple and hints of bread.

T- Again fairly straightforward with the addition of a hint of honey sweetness. Pale fruits with bread followed by spicy hops, light cereal grainy malts and a touch of citrus.

MF- Light end body with a crisp, lightly frothy texture. Carbonation at a fairly high level. Finishes with a slight bitterness.

Not bad in any way but also doesn't do much for me. I appreciate that it is mostly clean but it just lacks any compelling flavors or use of them.

A) Bright straw with standard white cap and lots of carbonation trails

S) Grainy, sweet, bit of corn

T) Yeah, some corn / DMS flavor, but not overwhelming, and just another flavor in a pretty straight forward beer.

M) High carbonation makes it fizzy.

D) A fine beer, just lost in the sea of Blonde/lighter ales and lagers. Probably best local and fresh.

Poured from a 12 oz. bottle. Leaves less than one finger of an off-white head that immediately dissappears into a foam ring at the edge, and there is no lacing. Body is a clear pale gold.

Smell - there are weak aromas of honey and sugar, along with a slight hint of cloves, and a weak aroma of apricots and a slight hint of figs.

Taste - much like the smell. There is weakly, some sugar and honey, as well as some malt biscuits. The finish, weakly has some apricots and figs, and some more, but weak, sugary sweetness.

Mouthfeel - thin to medium bodied, slightly semi-dry.

Drinkability - This is not bad, but I certainly would want something else after one or two of these, and I don't think I'd ever have it very often in the first place.

a: clear yellow/gold body with a white head.

s: Light aroma of pale malt and honey.

t: Pale malt, grainy with honey notes and a subtle hop bite in the finish.

m: crisp and clean.

d: easy drinking, refreshing and quite boring. I downed it like water, but I won't be seeking it out tin the future. Good beer for hot days or those who prefer tame beer.

Should be successful in a can.

12oz can.
A) Pours withe a finger thick head and settles quickly to big bubble lacing at the edge of the glass. Slightly hazy to the golden body. Thin, sticky lacing on the drink down.
S) Some wheat notes with subtle hints of citrus. Some pungent earthy aromas work their way out on the tip up.
T) Very mellow malty flavors at first then moves to a light citrus sweetness - orange with some lemon. Astringent in the finish.
M) Crisp. Light bodied. Quite dry in the finish leaving a heavy tannin feel on the tongue.
D) One is enough for me. Maybe in a pinch I'd drink another one.

A - Light golden in color with little head and no lacing. typical for a blonde ale.

S - little smell, more of a hoppy smell with citrus undertones. Not impressed.

T - decent hoppness with a lemony taste. .

M - Creamy, easily the best part of this beer.

D - Nice beer to sit down and drink. The mouthfeel really makes the beer one that i would drinkt more than one of.

A - Poured a Green Tea yellow with lively carbonation. No head at all.

A - Floral & Citrusy with a nice lemongrassy scent. Hop aromas pull through a bit, but not strongly.

T - Floral and Lavender with a mildly bitter finish from hops. Honey is present in a dry sort of way. A bit of tannins at the end. In all it reminded me of a dry Mead.

D - Easy to down fast, but no more thank two before switching to something with more body.

P - White fish, toss into a beer batter for some onion rings, or a cheese sauce for pretzels, Sesame or leeks seem good as well.

A: Average look for blonde. Not impressive head for this style. Like much more in terms of head and lacing for blonde.

S: Metalic. Common for this brewery so far.

T: Eh. Phenol flavors that seem to overpower. Not very balanced.

O: Good, but not too impressive.

Thanks to Beermasons for this and pours a see through golden blonde hue which leaves a frothy three finger head and clingy lacing, the smell is quite average and has aromas of honeyed malts, herbal hops and some grassiness, the mouthfeel is lightbodied too light for me and the tastes arnt much better very similar to smell with hints of honeyed malts, grassy herbal hops, cereal and bread and overall love the label but thats it for me and wouldnt buy or drink again cheers.

A - Slightly hazy yellow with a quickly vanishing white head, which manages to cling to the glass a bit on the way down. Pretty much what a blonde should be.

S - A nice blend of floral and citrus that masks the grainy bombardment to come.

T - Not robust or strong in any way upfront. Most of the flavor is derived from the aftertaste, which is a bit malty with some citrusy notes (lemon), but is mostly grain. It seems the more you drink this beer and as it warms up the grain becomes more dominating. It almost reminds me of malt liquor after a while.

M - I really like the mouthfeel of this beer. It is perfectly carbonated and that takes over when it first hits the tongue. It isn't watery or sludgy. It is a really well put together beer in this sense.

D - If only they could tone down the grain in the taste a bit, I would really like this beer. I really don't know if I would enjoy a 6 pack of this in a sitting. It's a shame because it is otherwise a nice brew.

I guess if you like grainy brews this one is for you. Also, nice art on the can, very cool.

Translucent pale golden pour.

Crackers and buttery biscuits take over but a hint of honey comes in and mellows it out. Sour wheat is also present on the nose but only slightly.

Wheat and a touch of honey is just about all I get. No complexity to give this brew a worthy nod.

Very thin body and very under-carbonated. Just not a lot of action on the palate.

Overall this is just simply boring. But don't rule this out being a light beer to be enjoyed and paired with food. Sampled one while eating pizza and one before bed... it definitely made my pizza into a pretty damn good meal. However, look to something else if you're just looking to drink a beer.
