Cans from the brewery poured into pint glass. A little strong wine/alcohol on the nose. Full-bodied. Fairly strong but good roasty flavor.

Ska's Malbec Stout was brewed for the 2020 Durango Film Festival. The brewery says it's brewed with Cluster Hops and Malbec grape must.

It's exactly what you would expect. The base beer is a traditional stout, roasty with a little bite to it, and then there's the wine influence. I think it's a bit similar to some beers I've had that spent time in wine barrels. I happen to like the combination of red wine flavors and stout flavors, so I'm good with this. The beer is bold, but not as intense as some stouts. It's a good food beer. I enjoyed mine with a steak.
