If you’re into malty beers, you would like it, but if you’re a hop hunter like me, this is a no go.
Two of these bad boys sat in my fridge for a while because it wasn’t the taste I was looking for.

Very malty for an ipa, very sweet and leaves your mouth with a over-sugared feeling. I’m into the crisp ipa finish, this is a little too heavy in the mouth feel for moi.

L: brilliant copper amber under a lacy 1" off-white to cream cap with fair retention.

S: Spicy hops dominate the nose starting with citrus, grass and pine followed by a hint of scrambled eggs.

T: Citrus starts the flavor seasoned with tropical fruit and melon leading to a refreshing bitter citrus pith finish that lingers.

F: lightly creamy with a medium light body and medium carbonation

O: a refreshing, bitter full flavored beer that calls out for a curry or smoked brisket

A truly challenging beer. For the IPA lover, this beer represents the most extreme flavor profile one could hope for. Rich, bicuity malt. Bracing astringency. Big pine. Wildflowers. Mineral and rotten wood. And just a touch of 4x4 tire rubber burning on a rockstrewn ledge. A truly unique and epic beer that tastes like the best and most terrifying adventure one might take into the unknown. Which is why they put it in a can.

Poured from a 12oz can into a IPA glass.
Look- amber, creamy head with good retention and lacing.
Smell- piney, boozy.
Taste- piney, well balanced.
Feel- good body, average carbonation.
Overall- solid beer, easy drinking. Nice piney taste with good balance and finish. I thought it would taste boozy from the smell, but it didn’t.

The beer pours a deep gold, almost tending toward amber. An initial whiff of grapefruit in the nose is quickly supplanted by a firm resinous, almost pine-like aroma. The flavor does not deviate one bit from the initial aroma. Monster pine needle and orange peel. A firmly bitter beer that truly doesn't take hold till you're 3 to 4 sips in.

Not my favorite. Sort of a heavy ipa. Wouldn't be able to drink more than one in a sitting.

I love IPA's so I try as many as I can. My neighbors travel to Colorado frequently and have chosen to support my habit by returning with various hoppy beers we don't usually get here in Iowa. Most are good, but this one is exceptional. Poured from a 12oz can the brew is a dark, brassy gold, with plenty of piney hop character and aroma. Wish I could get some more!

Pours a clear medium amber with persistent lacing.
Smell is slightly sweet with some hoppy citrus.
Taste is very hop forward. Grapefruit followed by pine.
Hoppy but not oppressive.

This is some of the most intense hop concentration I've had. It's pungent with hops, almost oily in a great way. The flavor and aroma are similar, they are dank with intense dark, deep notes. It reminds me of apple when it turns brown after cutting it. The feel is lighter than most and it's incredibly drinkable. It's just got such a hop punch that it's best enjoyed slowly. The hop complexity is off the charts. I've had higher rated beers that don't compare in complexity. Hop lovers dream

Classic mid west style IPA in my opinion. Loads and loads of hops- citrus, pine and good balance of malts. My can was sadly couple month old but regardless of that fact, I really enjoyed it and hope to try it fresh sometime.
