Wow. This beer is just pure hop resin in a glass. Coming in at 88 ibu's, this brew just coats your mouth with the best bitterness you can imagine. The nose is piney, citrusy. The taste is to seriously die for. Just resinous as can be. The after taste of hop flavor is killer. A really solid malt backbone as well. This beer is perfect. I will definitely be buying this regularly. Has the taste of a double IPA, but is really just a single IPA. So great. Well done Ska.

This one pours a really nice umber color that is clear with an ivory head that settles slowly leaving a very fine lacing down the glass.

The nose is peppery sweet pine and has notes of bread, pine and rainy day in the forest and some nutmeg and camphor.

The taste is a classic American IPA and has a very nicely balanced hoppiness to malt. There are strong notes of pine, fructose, nutmeg, and hops all well blended.

The moustfeel is just right and delivers the complexity across the palate.

Overall an exceptional IPA and well worth packing on a camping trip or with some BBQ.

Best by 1/3/2016. Remind me not to buy Ska beers near their expiration date. Pours dark amber-red, much darker than your average IPA. Nose is a blast of pine, grapefruit, earth, and sweet caramel. Solid malt background in the taste with enough depth to stand up to the hops. Orange peel, pine, citrus, and more earth. Thick and rich bodied. This is a wonderful IPA that to be encompasses what "dank" means when applied to beers. Layers of earth, pine, and malt. Delicious.

Pours a dark, amber-honey. The average head leaves some impressive lacing.

The nose is as resinous as expected - rich with simcoe mango and pineapple. Some grape comes through as the beer warms. Hop-malt balance is maintianed on the tongue, but those promised fruity notes don't really pack as much of a punch as they did in the can. Still, very easy drinking.

I remember when this was one of the first hoppy beers to be put in a can. Pours yellow, white head 1/3" deep. Looks solid. Aroma was of a pine forest and Chinook like hops perhaps?

Taste made me think Simcoe and c hops, good bitterness but not obtrusive. Relatively dry malt body with some English flair to it. This is a good beer for when you are doing outdoor stuff and don't want to be bothered with glassware or Chicago pours.
