12oz can, stamped "Enjoy By 4 April 2014", given to me by Felix. Thanks man! Poured into an unlabeled snifter today, 1/26/2014.

App- Clear amber body, fluffy thick white head with fantastic retention. Leaves sticky lacing. Outstanding, though the body could be lighter in color for the style.

Smell- Smells rich and green, like Jai Alai except not as complex. Biscuits, honey, resin, pine.

Flavour- Pine and resin flavours, combines with biscuits and pale malt. Tastes "green" in the homebrew vernacular. Not terribly bitter but there are some IBUs to be found.

Mouthfeel- Medium bodied, just perfect body, good carbonation, easily crushable. Aftertaste is a wet piney resin that isn't much in the first few sips but builds up quite a bit by the end of the can.

Overall- Nice easy to get IPA that should be in your regular shelf pale rotation if you have access. Reminds me very much of Jai Alai.

A- A darker hue to this IPA than most. Half finger head with decent retention. Not to lacing after 2 minutes of pour. Standard probably on that.

S- Worst grade for this beer. 3.5 Some faint pine, wet cheese board ?? lol, I am getting some oak which is weird.

T- Very smooth. This is one of my top five IPAs. I am not sure what kind of hops this beer uses, but this is a wonderfully crafted beer!

M- Just about perfect for an IPA. Just enough carbonation follows down the throat. Wonderful on the palate. Really enjoy this beer.

O- On my profile page, I write that I don't like IPA's with the exception of Jai Alai. Well, this one is one that I really like too. Well done SKA!

12oz can poured into a pint glass.

A: Deep amber / copper color that is cloudy. Two finger frothy head that is sticky.

S: Strong floral and citrus and slight pine aromas.

T: Slight orange citrus sweetness on the front followed by sharp bitterness. Spicy, piney resinous hops cloak your tongue, and a bit of malt, biscuit, and caramel flavors seep in, but that bitterness clings to your taste buds.

M: A full bodied beer that dries the tongue due to the oily hop resin. Relief does come from the caramel malts which slightly diminishes the bitterness. Gentle carbonation and warm finish on the throat.

O: A staple of hop bomb canned beers. Even with it's huge hop bitterness, the flavor and mouthfeel isn't astringent or harsh. The caramel flavors stick around on the tongue and blend with the resin, but the drying effect is a bit much.
