On tap at Westover Beer Garden. Poured into a small plastic solo cup.

I enjoyed this beer. Was unaware of the style when I first tried it and thought it to be a Vienna Lager. BA has this beer rated as a Euro Strong Lager. That may or may not be correct but I can assure you this beer does not taste like a typical Euro Lager (strong or not).

Sorry, did not have the time to write a detailed review as I was socializing.

From bottle, pours a dark golden colour with a decent white head that disapates slowly and laces.
Aroma malt, caramel, grass
Taste pretty much follows the nose, malt, caramel, grassy, very easy to drink.

Standard macro strong lager, clean, light-copper, standard white head, some laces, caramel malts, oak-aged character, bread, paper, almost no hops, boring, simple, reminds whiskey/rum scottish ales, like Innis & Gunn & other trash.

From a 330ml bottle. Beautiful bottle (despite being green coloured). Embossing and curved shape makes it very tactile.

Pours a dark gold with a one finger head that diminishes slowly, leaving some lacing and a thin smear.

Bready, malty, woody nose.

Pronounced malt flavours. Some honey and light treacle.

Rich, smooth mouthfeel. Lightly drying. Very little carbonation. No sense of alcohol.

For a Mediterranean lager this is good. When in Spain this is a beer to seek out in preference to the usual San Miguels and Estrellas. Just be careful because the 6.4% ABV creeps up on you.

From Mercadona. In Ikea's pilsner glass. Playing Goodbye Deponia. Specially refreshing. Better than average
