Poured from a 500ml bottle into a straight pint glass.

Pours a light and clear golden colour.

Smells slightly malty, generally like a lager but quite fresh.

Tastes very balanced and smooth, with a crisp hoppy bitter finish. Nice biscuity malt flavour with a slight spicy bite, and some yeast there too.

Overall an extremely well balanced beer, bloody excellent.

A fine example of the German pils style. Light-medium bodied, very flavorful. Refreshing level of carbonation. Biscuity malt, spicey hop essence. It did a excellent job of washing down my Brat while strolling around Rothenburg.
