Aggressively dry hopped and rich in hop flavor and aroma, Hale’s Supergoose IPA is nonetheless well balanced and drinkable. If you love IPA’s you gotta try Supergoose.

Grapefruit/citrus hops with a touch of pine. Aroma is astringent hops (more pine on the nose), on a dark amber body, creamy off-white head. Taste is more citrus, with some lingering pine bitterness for you to remember this beer by. Nice.

Pours a clear burnt orange color. A full three to four finger head forms on the beer before dissipating leaving no residual head. Some lacing is left behind on the glass.

Aroma has notes of pine, citrus, grapefruit and orange, with a caramel malt backbone.

Taste follows the nose with notes of orange, grapefruit, citrus, pine, some green hop notes, and some woody notes all on top of the caramel malt backbone. Moderate bitterness.

Feel is moderate bodied, smooth, a bit slick. Moderately bitter and trending drier on the back end.

Overall a very solid IPA.

OK, not a DIPA in any way. But once you get past that - man, is that a solid flagship. The best things about PNW without overdoing anything. Made me forget NEIPAs for a minute.

Lighter amber with a thinning head. This brew has a scent of orange citrus with a bitter grapefruit edge. Bitter but crisp beer with a citric leaning flavor. Decently carbonated with a thicker feel. Ok...

Just a hint of hazy in an otherwise brilliant orange beer. Head was a lot like latte foam, about three fingers high before setting into thin layer of foam and a full curtain of lacing. Nose is candy orange sweet with a biting spicy bitterness whose combination is reminiscent of that old timey hard ribbon Christmas candy. Taste pops a big bitter that shares nearly equal parts orange and pine with maybe a dash of lemon zest on exit before a remarkable dryness kicks put everything but a sandy bitterness in the after taste.

On Tap at Seattle Taphouse. Pours a golden slight hazed color with a nice white head. Smell & Taste were citrus mixed with pine hop, biscuit sweet malts on tail end. Nicely carbed mout feel with an agressive hop profile and some WC bitterness. A solid IPA.
