Time to crush a review for one of those 90s feels C hop bangers. Out of Washington, my buddy who always wins trades on me dropped one of these $6 bombers prolly on me for something like Izzy or some shit.

Pours an amber like color and mild brown currents running through it, 3/5" white head. Aroma smacks of little to no dry hopping but plenty of PacNW C hop mischief is apparent.

A bunch of crystal malt it seems on this one, malty, C hoppy. Bitter. Carbonation appropriate. Its pretty typical bomber fare in the 90s 100ibu C hop vein. Lotta grapefruit and heavy caramel to this one.

The appearance had a somewhat hazy but more of a clear amber body with a one and a half finger white foamy head that rises a bit and falls leaving some sticky lacing in the wake. The smell had a bitter citrus hops up front but a nice bready/maltiness angles in to also give a bit of a floral/piney-ness as well. The taste had a sweet yet bitter combination of hops to bready maltiness, also gets a bit orangey, aftertaste is exactly the same, dry finish. On the palate, it sat about a light to medium, sessionable, carbonation is good for the style and good for me. Overall, I’d say this is a pretty good AIPA, just a tad maltier than most AIPA’s but still worthy of another purchase.

22oz bottle of No-Li's 7%, 85 IBU, single IPA, Born & Raised. Beer pours surprisingly muddy, red in color with a brownish tinge. I get a floral and fruity aroma, rather than the classic pine / citrus I'd expect from a "native" PNW IPA. Flavor features bright, playful hops. Looks like a red ale, smells like a tropical hop IPA, and the label promises DIPA proportions, but what's actually delivered is a tasty and very reasonable single IPA.

Not bad, good amount of hops, pretty smooth, taste golden. Drank at Dino's. Bought from TJs.

Single bottle copped at Total Wine and More. I was pleasantly surprised by this latest offering. A good, well-rounded, solid IPA. A pretty decent stab at the style with a strong hop backbone balanced by mild malts. Piney, fruity flavor with hints of citrus and lemon zest. Good stuff.

22 oz. bottle:

Pours copper with an off-white head that leaves lacing.

The smell is of citrus (grapefruit, with some orange and some mango), pine, some black pepper.

The taste follows the nose - citrus and pine. Firm caramel sweetness balances it. Black pepper (and tea-like)spicing in the finish.

Smooth, medium body.

A classic example of a "more balanced" American IPA. Alcohol reasonably well-covered. Enjoyable.

Pours an Amber color with a light haze. Aroma is semi sweet malts with a little line hops. Flavor is piney with a little citrus. Pretty well balanced but finishes a little sweet. Feel is ok and overall this is a solid IPA but nothing special.

The Born & Raised IPA with 85 IBU and 7.0% is really great for the price. Its a perfect IPA when your a budget.
Look: this beer has a dark amber color, you can tell its a malty beer.
Smell: It's malty and piney smell.
Taste: dark malty with large piney taste. This beer is mostly a malt bomb with some hoppyness.
Feel: Like a malty 7.0% IPA
Overall: Like i said before its solid IPA for the price. $4.75 for a 22 ounce bottle.
Also i needed this beer for the bottle cap! The map needed it!! :)

No Li IPA
Nice sweet and tropical nose. Taste falls short of the nose, though. It taste like either there is excessive early kettle hops used or hops with huge alpha acid content used early in in the boil. Really big bashing hops pummel the taste buds. The hops are piney and resinous without being over sticky. Big general bitterness without much nuance or floral notes. There are traces of pineapple and some candy like sweetness in the finish. If you search deep enough there is a sweet, malt under-toned back bone. The malts are slightly bready and contain some caramel. The malts barely contain the bitterness, any more bitterness would be way overboard. When Pliny is only 2 hours away and you can get Enjoy By and Alpine down the street, you have develop high expectations. This beer falls short to living up to (relative) standards.
