Poured into a 0.5 ltr glass. A light straw yellow color, very cloudy with sediment at the bottom. A very foamy 4 finger head. Lemon and coriander stood out the most. On the sweet side but still one of my favorites.

Look :- Hazy red-gold , thick white head.
Smell :- Sweet wheat .
Taste :- Sweet wheat followed by a mild bitterness and citric acid , but in a nice way .
Mouth feel:- Prickly carbonation . Good viscosity.
Overall :- A nice wheat beer ( is there any other type ? ) Not as interesting as some others but still good .

RBESG 2006 Grand Tasting, as Svyturys Baltas Kvictinis Alus. ABV is 5.2%. Golden colour, hazy, large head. Typical weissbier aroma and flavour: cloves and ripe bananas. An okay weissbier.

Cloudy gold appearance with a large white head and a fair amount of lacing. Restrained aroma of soft fruit, spice and yeast. Flavors follow the traditional hefe style, with the wheat, banana and spice being prominent. Very smooth, decently carbonated, medium bodied mouthfeel. A peppery touch in the aftertaste of the average length finish.

Hello ladies and gents,
I have to say, this was not a particularly impressive HefeWeizen. I may be somewhat biased, having spent considerable time drinking HefeWeizens in Bavaria (Nuremberg). This Lithuanian take just didn't do it for me.
L: Quite a decent amber colour, cloudy straight from the bottle as one would expect from a non-filtered beer. Looks good.
S: Heavy yeast notes, heavy wheaty overtones were overpowering and metallic. No coherence, sickly.
T: Not crazy about it but ok - became more palatable halfway through the beer. Below standard as per smell.
O: I bought this out of curiosity to sample a Lithuanian wheat beer. Not massively impressed. I suspect this is not Svytury's strongest product line. Always worth a try, everyone has their own tastes, but nothing memorable to see here.

Labas!
L: standard, perhaps a bit more dark than standard, somewhat more similar to an urweiss, but nothing crazy. Head retention isn’t the greatest
S: is good, typical yeast heavy notes, very bready like fresh dough, light esters
T: is also good, very nice malt flavors, very clean and refreshing flavor. Tad astringent on the finish but it’s barely noticeable. No off flavors.
F: I’m not crazy about. A bit heavy and the carbonation feels on the stronger side for a beer of this style. As if the bubbles aren’t well nucleated. It’s not enough to stop me from drinking this beer again, but just being nice objective
O: good beer IMO, took me a minute to warm up to it, just think it physically needed to warm up as it had been kept in a refrigerator. Mouthfeel was the only issue I had, but I’d still certainly drink this beer again. Especially for the price (9.99 for import of 4 16 oz bottles) it’s a great buy, if you can find it

Poured from the bottle into a wheat ale glass.
Dark bodied and muted brass color, with a lot of chestnut colored brown. Egg shell white foamy typed head, classic looking but not particularly large, but manages its own at a solid two fingers. Small amounts of fine rising carbonation just enough to be seen. Dark for a hefe but a nice looking beer regardless.
Nice touches of aroma on the nose. Light sensing hints of lemon and a faint touch of small banana. Seems a little spritzy and light gas smelling but in a nice almost fresh soda like quality in the way.
Palate seems to lighten up a bit. Light bodied but also a bit wet. A good amount of mineral and rocky like flavors, that mix in with a light chewy wheat sense and a touch pale lemon. Aftertaste is a big banana almost candy like quality, but manage to settle down a bit. Light carbonation, but not particularly gaseous and even a little bit flat.
Seems like a bit more of an easier and lighter hefe with a bit more mineral flavor than most.
