Silky brownish head, fading very loudly (tsh). Totally opaque very dark brown color body. The smell was surprzing: combined with the toasted dark malts and the nutty character, there was an impression of fruity esters that reminded me of a hefe weizen, yeasty and sweet. This surprizing impression remianed present in the taste: aside from the round dark malts showing toast and almost smoke, there's this complex fruitiness, mixing ripe bananas and citrus, with hints of chestnut. Hops are enjoyably chewy, carbonation is quite high for the style but neverthess acceptable. Maybe the mouthfeel could be a but more complex, but the taste is unusual and refreshing.
