What a pleasant surprise!! Strong smell of grapefruit... Love everything about this IPA! Best offering by Long Trail to date in my opinion. The 7.6% ABV is well hidden. Will certainly buy again and recommend to anyone who enjoys IPA's.

Poured 12oz bottle into snifter glass. 7.6% abv

Appearance- Pours a medium amber with a slight bit of haze. Pronounced fluffy 2 finger head.

Smell- Grapefruit and mango make the the strong citrus notes. Some pine as well mixed with sweet malt. Very nice.

Taste- Sweet malt on the slightly caramel side blends nicely into a citrus mix of orange, mango, and pineapple. The bitterness comes after, but is very smooth and blends about with the sweetness. Hops and the malt make a great showing.

Mouthfeel- Medium in body with lively carbonation and fresh to the palate.

Overall- An excellent IPA. Full of fresh sweet citric flavors and fresh hop characteristics. Full of complexity. Well crafted and a must try.

Pleasantly surprised by this one. Nice nose with a unique flavor profile, while not departing from its intended style. Still, there was something slightly off; something I experience with a lot of LT beers. Nevertheless, definitely worth drinking more than once.

I really like this IPA, also the label is awesome, and the draft pull is a femur!!! and is its a New England brew so I definitely like that:)

Poured from 12 oz bottle into FW Teku.

Bright golden orange body with snow white head.

Pungent tropical fruit aromas and winter fruit. Zesty, fresh citrus and pineapple with touches of bubble gum.

Body is a bit aqueous with a mellow bitter for the style and lots of fruit flavor on the mid palate and in the finish.

Look for a touch drier in the style and some more carbonation, but those minor things not withstanding Limbo is a terrific fruity and enjoyable go to IPA.
