Poured into a pint glass at brewery in Bridgewater Corners, VT. Pours golden orange with plenty of foamy head and lacing. Subtle taste of fruit - peach? - coupled with light hops. Very refreshing, delishes, and ascetically pleasing. Good stuff.

Pours a light gold. Not much of an aroma. A mild malt body with a slight bitter hop finished. Well balanced. Very smooth. Not very flashy but really solid. The perfect beer for summer afternoons.

Lightly hazy, transparent deep golden-copper in color; bubbly, creamy white head. Great retention and lacing.
Deep aromas of fresh orange peel, candied orange, pineapple, toast, honey, and white pepper.
Crisp crackery malt upfront immediately marries with sweet orange, zesty orange oils, pineapple, grapefruit, and pine. Hay and a slight vinous hint. Slightly sweet toasty malt. Clean, drying finish with a light metallic note, and a hint of white pepper.
Medium-light feel. Moderate carbonation. Slightly oily but fairly clean overall. Downright crushable.
A fantastic summer ale! Very citrusy and fruity from the hops, a subtle sweetness that keeps drawing you back, and a crisp refreshing finish.

12oz bottle. Poured out a clear, amber color with golden highlights but a very, very small white head of fizziness. Sweet orange aroma with caramel notes. Tasted fairly fruity and sweet with a subtle piney bitterness. Clean and smooth finish. Light to medium bodied.

We got a nice recommendation for this one and it did not disappoint. She’s a fruit filled brew for easy sipping on a sun drenched day. Easily one of the best summer ales we have had and is fantastically consumable. Drinks more like a flavorful IPA than a Whit Beer (which we see a lot in “summer” beers) and that’s not to say it’s heavy, just a lot of flavor. We at 1009 would absolutely grab this again and if you haven’t tried it, get yourself a six.

Maybe they updated this recipe, because the bottle says it's a little over 5%. Either way, it's a very enjoyable blonde ale. Slight citrus fruit in the aroma, very quaffable light malts and an upfront hop bite. Creamy in the middle with a thirst quenching finish. Another one from one of my favorite breweries that's also very underrated.

12oz. bottle served in a shaker pint. Pours a translucent orange-gold with a fizzy, 1/8th inch, off-white head that quickly disperses towards the edges of the glass. Nose is very subdued - the merest hints of citrus and biscuit malts. Taste follows nose. Finishes with biscuit malts and a light, medicinal bitterness. Mouthfeel is light in body with an assertive carbonation the leaves a residual prickly across the tongue between quaffs. Overall, decent and drinkable.

See through golden with a gone white head. There’s some kind of hops on the nose and some sweetness detected. I’m an ipa guy I might be judging more harshly than warranted. Really easy to drink, sweet with a kiss of hop bite. Watery with just less than enough carbonation. Um no.

Bright, refreshing golden ale. Citra dry-hopping brings extra zing. At 4.3% abv, this is a good in-the-sunshine summer brew. Though fairly simple and straightforward, if you need to drive away the heat, start here.

Pours a semi opaque golden/orange hue, very quickly dissipating head. Pick up scent of neutral earth smell, Tastes better than most of the Summer ale's I have had so far. Nice lemony , malty, iced tea essence.Feels well crafted and stands out among the other blonde summer ales- Overall this is quite refreshing and definitely a light ABV summer slammer- ABV is now 5.4%

Poured about a finger head. Nice carbonation. Nice light yellow slightly hazy color. Very light citrus in the smell, not that the smell wasn't good, it just wasn't very strong at all. Taste is great. It has some bite and a little bitterness that is missing in most Summer Ales. A nice citrus balance and hops with a crisp feel to it and a nice sweet lingering aftertaste reminiscent of a good Kolsch. Long Trail hit this one on the head. This definitely might be my go to Summer Ale this Summer when I'm in the mood for this style on a hot day.

12oz bottle in an Imperial pint glass.
Summer hazy light straw color with a light golden thread or two depending on the light. A sturdy 1-plus finger head, bleach white, leaves wispy lacing. Looks summery to me.
Light citrus and dry grass aromas.
Pilsner malt with some citrus hop flavor. Is that orange and mango?
Light body an soft carbonation; just right for summer ale. Lasting hop flavor.
On target summer ale.

True to its name this is a beer for the summer and has a light mouth feel, with a nice neutral aftertaste the is reminiscent of barbecues long ago.

This was poured into a nonic pint glass. The appearance was basically a light hazy golden yellow to orange color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within less than thirty seconds leaving some light stringy lacing sliding into the beer. The smell started off with a light citrus zest and lead into a light balance of grassiness. The taste was sweet to bitter blending the citrus to the grassiness. Lingering sweet citrus leads the aftertaste and ends up leading a wet finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a very good sessionability about it. Carbonation runs smooth and allows a light tangy citrus feel over my tongue. Overall, I say whether a blonde ale or an APA, I’d have it again.
