The culmination of a long growing season, the autumn harvest comes once a year. We mark the end of summer with the release our seasonal brown ale, Harvest. Vermont maple syrup added during the brewing process yields a lasting sweetness on the palate that's guaranteed to warm your soul.

Raise a glass and enjoy the spirit of the season. Pairs well with wood-splitting, leaf-raking and pumpkin carving.

In celebration of the autumn harvest we’ve brewed this brown ale with locally harvested Vermont ingredients... a truly unique Taste of Vermont!

I had this on tap in upstate VT while on-site for work. MUCH better than out of the bottle, I'm not sure if they have a problem with their bottling machine or if I just got a bad batch but after enjoying this beer very much I bought a case to bring home and it turned out disappointing at best. Average amber, the taste from the tap is delicious. I wouldn't say I'd buy it again but if it were on tap next to say a Sam Adams Seasonal this would certainly be my first choice.

Pours deep dark chestnut brown, crystal clear, very good retention and above average lacing on a light brown head; an absolute beauty of a beer.

Rich malt forward nose; some bitter molasses, darkened toast, some minor hop presence.

Taste is so rich in malt with no sweet or syrupy feel; the syrup contributes this interesting combination of molasses and darkened syrup but with bitter burntness to it; almost give impression like if you scorched maple syrup, finishes with a nice little hoppy bite that lingers with light earth coffee.

Light body but so full creamy and smooth, this thing drinks so easy; the richness dissipates immediately and it finishes clean with a lingering burnt bitterness.

Pours a dark amber with a two-finger tan head that dissipates fairly quickly.

I get very little aroma straight off the pour, just some malty sweetness. And not really much more as it warms.

Things improve with the taste. There's a great interplay between sweet and bitter, with browned caramel, toffee, molasses, dark fruits vying with brown bread, roast coffee, almost-burnt toast, hop bitterness. A medicinal undercurrent comes to the fore near the finish.

Medium-bodied with low carb with a smooth feel.

This reminds me of the taste profile of a doppelbock, but at only 4.4% ABV. Definitely one to try out if you're looking for a lot of flavor on an alcohol budget.

The pour is umber brown colored. The taste is roasted malts & caramel. I don't notice the maple syrup either. Cheers! B

Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a pint glass; no birth date. Pours dark brown with decent initial foamy head; rapidly recedes. Tastes of thin maple with light hoppy after taste. A bit watery but expected at a low ABV. Good.

Poured moderately hard from a bottle into a mug, forming quite a bit of frothy tan head, soon fading to just a hint of lacing. Slightly reddish brown, translucent color. Smell is a bit of maple. Taste is brown ale malt soon followed by a bit of maple, ending with a little hops. Becomes more earthy and less maple as it warms. Light bodied with some carbonation. Not much maple flavor overall, and more hops than I prefer.

I love maple flavored things. Beers, desserts, cocktails, you name it. Saw this on the discount rack and I just had to have it

Pours a slightly cloudy amber with just a finger of beige head that quickly reduces to a ring and leaves no lacing

Sweet maple is up front in the nose. Smoked beechwood and caramel malts are also pleasant. Doesn’t smell all that great tbh

The malt here is sweet in the beginning of the sip, but is offset by semi-sweet maple and earthy hops. Towards the finish, the smoke comes back in but does not feel intentional. Even though it’s not super strong, the smoke is overbearing and makes this feel artificial

For a brown ale, this is too light and thin. It is very mildly carbonated and drinks easy because of it. Finishes completely dry

Mehh, this one was just average. I’m always down to try new brown ales or anything with maple, but this just didn’t check any of the boxes for either category. That being said, it’s not a bad beer, and it could be a freshness issue

Bought this as part of a mix pack of bottles. It is a good autumn ale.
Look: Dark gold, not much head retention.
Smell: Bready, malty, slight yeast.
Taste: Brown ale typical, slight bitterness up front, fading to a malt flavor at the back.
Feel: Nice, not over carbonated.
Overall: This was excellent value at $14 a 12 pack!. A very tasty, malty, cool season ale, easy to drink. Would buy again.

12 oz bottle. Pours light brown with tall, long lasting, fluffy, off-white head and soda like carbonation. Aroma is of piney hops, and toasted malt. Body is medium and crisp. Taste is of herbal hops, brown sugar, toasted malt and a touch of maple syrup. Finish is long and dry. OK brew.

This one pours a light brownish color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.

This smells like sticky and bittersweet maple, piney hops, caramel, toffee, and bitter breadiness.

There's a lot of disparate threads weaving through this beer - there's a touch of maple, there's resinous hop bitterness, toasted malt, and a crusty sort of bready malt character. I definitely wish there was more maple, as it's not a super apparent flavor here.

This is medium bodied, and very crisp, with a very good level of drinkability.

This is a solid enough little beer, but I wish really want more maple sweetness to counteract the bitterness of the hops and malt here.

Drinking out of a glass tumbler. I prefer it to a regular pint glass.
Pours a nice clear mahogoney brown.
Good tan colored head.
Light smell of maple plus typical dark malts.
Taste is a surprise. Nice, light taste of maple, backed-up with standard brown ale taste.
Overall, a pretty good maple ale.
