The beer pours a hazy pale gold color with a thick frothy white head that slowly fades to lacing. The aroma is decent. It has a nice pale and wheat malt scent along with a refreshing banana/clove aroma. There also seems to be some lemon zest in there as well. The taste is average. It's a tastey brew, but it's thinner and less estery than your traditional hefe. This has a crisp wheat flavor that goes down smooth and finishes with minimal banana/clove and more lemony zest. The mouthfeel is decent. It is a medium bodied beer with good carbonation. This is a good drinking beer, but just an average hefe.

It is a real shame that this beer was retired. I was lucky enough to drink plenty of them while they were around. Like another reviewer has said, this beer tastes and smells EXACTLY like circus peanuts. That may not sound appealing to many at first, but I assure you that it was delicious. I don't even like circus peanuts, but I loved this beer and its unique taste.
