Features a medium amber body, balanced with a modest amount of Willamette hops. This spring ale is highly drinkable, flavorful and finishes clean and crisp.

On a hot summer night in August this beer is perfectly suited for taste and refreshment.
The case I bought was dated 6/2/09 & this was the first time I tried this particular beer from LT and I was not disappointed. I was looking for something light to medium bodied & flavorful and the Pollenator nailed it to a T.
The first pour produced a nice head which left a nice lace on the glass as it slowly subsided - so far, so good. The aroma is modestly present and instantly lets you know this isn't a hoppy powerhouse beer. There's more of a malty nose to it & it invites you to the first sip. The first taste lends a sweet initial taste followed by the taste of honey trailed by a nice semi-dry finish. No big hop presence here but the beer is very nicely balanced and is extremely drinkable. The mouthfeel is rather light which makes this beer a great warm weather treat.
The good thing about the bomber bottles is you can tell the cops (or wife) you only had 3 beers & still have a good night - wink wink nudge nudge. This beer will definitely have you drinking more than 1. enjoy
