A story in cherry, maybe a light Belgian in the secondary. A lot of cherry. Deep Cherry colour, in the aroma. Mid mouthfeel. Nice and drinkable. I would like to enjoy this on its own, away from all the sours.Something different for Great Lakes, and a cut above cherry juice.

On-tap during Zwanze Day at Volo.

Beer is dark reddish-brown in colour, with a moderately-sized tan head.

Nose contains cherry, oak and dark fruit. Cherry is pretty juicy and nice.

Taste is similar: lots of cherry and oak, some dark fruit (raisin, fig) and vanilla. Sightly dry.

Full bodied, moderately carbonated. Woody and astringent.

Overall, quite good. Very cherry focused.
