500ml bottle bought from the Co-Op, Whitby...

Poured a nice coppery orange colour... Slightly off white head poured quite thick and foamy and faded to very thin layer... little or no lacing...

Aroma - Light toffee malts, fruity (oranges, raisins, grapefruits), nutty sweetness, light caramel, grassy, spicy hops, biscuity / bready notes...

Taste - Juicy fruits (oranges, figs, apples), light toffee / caramel malts, some honey sweetness, quite nutty, earthy, bready notes, peppery...

Feel - Pretty smooth. Light bodied. Very drinkable and at 4.4% would make a very good session beer...

Overall - An excellent bitter... definitely worth a try...
