The atmosphere of this beer/wine/cigar bar was pretty neat. It was a classy/outdoorsy bar. Boar heads adorned the walls while the upstairs loft catered to cigar smokers with a couple cases full of cigars.

I got myself a cigar and a Lindemans Framboise and enjoyed myself upstairs. There was a band playing and they really added to the atmosphere.

The selection wasn't the greatest but the did have a few really nice beers like the Lindemans Frambois and Chimay. I noticed Fullers London Porter and ESB on the list also.

This seems like the best place in Toledo to get a beer since Ragtime Ricks closed down.

This place has undergone a little renovation recently from what I understand. This one's down by Fifth Third field near the warehouse district downtown, where a very select few roads are still brick. The outside is clean and gives the impression that this isn't some scary downtown dive. There's a long bar with plenty of seating and space and one TV at the bar. In the open space in the middle, there are two long tile-topped tables with chairs and lots of space around them. Aside from that, there's a smoking patio outside with some wood tables and chairs and a comfortable upstairs lounge. Basically whatever environment you want to be hanging out in, you've got. I didn't try any food. If you're there for beer, it's only going to be in bottles. There are right around ten taps, maybe fewer, and nothing good unless you're in the mood for a Blue Moon, which is okay. One cool thing is they've got a tequila on tap. I thought that was interesting. The bottle list is pretty nice, though. The list of domestics is a long list of crap with two Anchor brews (I guess they took out the SN). There are crappy foreign macros included in an otherwise impressive list which includes Chimay red and blue, Aventinus (two, including , Kuhnhenn Eisbock, Lindemans Framboise, and a few other nice ones. The crowd seems lively without being obnoxious, the servers are friendly and the guy in charge is pretty personable. All in all, I had a good experience here and I will be hanging out here again soon.

Nastalgic old place. Lots of wood work and a good old style 1940's bar. They have an upstairs that is more contemporary with several couches to lounge and relax with a group of friends or strangers with cocktails.

Several quality beers on tap goes well with the relaxed company and atmosphere.

The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about what they have. The food is average and inexpensive (not a bad thing).

This is a great place to meet prior to a Toledo Mudhen's game! They put on an exceptional "Opening Day" party for the Mud Hen's and typically have game day specials.

The owner is a cool guy and very accomidating.

This place doesn't quite have the atmosphere of some of the others, but it's not too loud and the crows isn't scary. It's a pretty relaxed place that isn't pricey and if you go at the right time it can be pretty empty which I like. The tap isn't good but the bottled selection is good and represents a lot of styles countries and breweries. Service is pleasant and okay on the speed but nothing special in what they know. It's a good place to hang out upstairs and just enjoy a beer. There's not much else to say.

This is my second favorite bar in Toledo (Daddy-Oh's is my fave). What I look for in a bar is a relaxed, non-meat-market atmosphere. Music low enough that conversation is possible. Good beer. The Bronze Boar has all of these requirements. The good beer is all in bottles, unfortunately, but a lot of bars and restaurants in Toledo don't even have that. The Bronze Boar has good English, Scottish, Finnish, German, Czech, Mexican, Italian, French and Belgium beers. Sierra Nevada (pale ale, lager, porter) is the only American craft beer. The bar tender knew nothing about the beers, but she was nice and attentive.

I love the upstairs area in the Bronze Bar. My group of friends had the whole upstairs to ourselves for hours on a Wednesday night. The previous reviews said that the upstairs is a cigar bar. That is no longer the case due to the Ohio state-wide smoking ban. You can still buy and smoke cigars on their patio, but all patrons can now enjoy the bar without cigar smoke.

Stopped in the Bronze Boar after a Mudhen's game. It was fairly busy, but not overcrowded. The main bar is downstairs, with a martini / cigar bar upstairs. The crowd was a mix of young and old, many stopping in after the ballgame, and some dressed for a saturday night on the town. Our bartender was friendly, but I didn''t test her beer knowledge too much.

Now for the important part, the beer. Four taps: Guiness, Bud Light, Bass, and Goose Island Summer. The bottle selection was more impressive, highlighted by Chimay and Lindeman's Framboise. A few british ales, a few german lagers, a couple mexican brews, and the basic north american beers rounded out the selection.

The Bronze Boar is a solid bar to visit after a trip to the ball game. The strength of their selection is imported beers. Unfortunately, American craft beer is almost completely ignored.
