A direct competitor to H.E.B's Central Market, United Market Street. Market Street is a fine store and blows all the other regular chains out of the water, but still has some catching up to Central Market. I went there within the first few weeks it opened and the beer selection was paltry. There is a devoted isle to beer, and a big cooler for storing cold beer. I recently went again a few months ago and wow, a complete change. They've got a lot of beers now and a lot of good ones. I don't know how many beers they carried but it was just little fewer than the Central Market in Fort Worth. The prices are about the same as Central Market. I really like this place because it only takes me 10 minutes to get to instead of 30-40. Its great for people that live around Colleyville, Grapevine, Southlake, etc... They are overpriced though. I don't know why, but a certain 6-pack will be $10+, while you can run to Central Market and pick it up for $7. Must be the surrounding rich neighborhoods that make them think they can get away with these price hikes.

These guys usually have some nice craft beers around and I've uncovered a few surprises here too. On the other hand, they have a lot of old, out of date beer just sitting around. I'll swing in when I'm in the area, but it's definitely not a normal hot spot for me.

Located on Colleyville Blvd. between Hall Johnson and Glade, Market Street has by far the best beer selection of any supermarket in North Tarrent County. Unfortunately, that's not saying much, but I want to give them props for the effort. I wish they had more craft brewers represented from throughout the Lone Star State. We need to support our own, after all. The staff is always available and usually will ask if you need help if you linger a minute or more. What I like best is their considerable selection of singles. Watch out for incorrect scanning, though. Seems to be a constant challenge for them to keep their UPC codes up to date.

This more of a grocery store, but an upscale version in an upscale area. They have a decent selection of all types of beer. They also rotate what they put out there weekly every once in a while. Their beer selection consists of a single isle. Toward the front of the store there is a good selection of single beers, including everything from imports to local varieties. From the singles all the way to the end of the aisle they have a good choice of six packs, once again, ranging from imports to locals. Opposite of the beer isle is a cooler room which is moslty cases and six packs of Budweiser, Miller, and Coors type beers, but they do have a few six packs of craft brews.

The people in the wine section (adjacent to the beer aisle) can help you find a beer. There are a couple people knowledgeable of the subject and want to make sure you get what you want.

This is another of the "upscale" grocery stores that happen to carry decent beer and wine selections. They have a good assortment of imports and common US craft beers. They only have one side of an aisle, but they do well not to waste space on huge facings of macros. They are also good about carrying a selection of Texas beers (St Arnolds, Rahr & Shiner) Their prices are a little high, but they are often better than Hall's. (And the beer doesn't seem to sit around as long). I think the staff is more oriented toward wine, but they at least make an effort on the beer.
