Poured from a 12oz bottle into a US tumbler pint glass.

A: The beer is a deep gold color with a large foamy off-white head that fades slowly and leaves a thick but spotty lace on the glass.

S: The aroma contains grassy hops, caramelized malts and some citrus.

T: The taste starts out bready with a hearty malt character up front. Then an earthy hops bitterness comes in. There is some caramel and citrus sweetness that provides a little balance. The after-taste is slightly bready and slightly hoppy.

M: Crisp but not very smooth, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is dry and slightly sticky.

O: A little tasty, goes down ok, not too filling, decent kick, decent representation of style, this is a solid IPA to drink for a while.

Liking the label art in 1940s style of hop cones and "Cheers!"

Poured from the 12 oz, bottle into an Innis & Gunn flute.

a: Translucent amber with an inch thick white head which receded to even surface foam and dense lacing.

s: Fruit cup i.e. peach and pear.

t; Hard fruit up front with moderate bitterness over a medium biscuit malt base. Temporarily bitter finish.

m: Medium wiht good body and moderate carbonation tingle.

o: More of a traditional English IPA than American in that the hop flavor is more hard fruit than citrus or resin, although the notes seem to lean more in the direction of the latter as it warms. As such pleasant and easy drinking yet with enough flavor to enjoyably sip.

Pours a decent fizzy almost fluffy 1 finger head that fades at a med pace, nice soapy lacing too, hazy reddish orange amber color.

Nose brings earthy grassy hops, a touch of an orange peel, bit floral and fruity too, eventually floods the fruity faint citrusy hop note. Mild sweet malt base, touch of fruity esters I think.

Taste brings a mild grainy sweet malt to start, reddish amber malt and a bit toasty and grainy, a bit smooth and rich though. Then hops, herbal earthy hops, a faint spicy, bit leafy and quite grassy too. It has a mild citrus peel as well, and touch fruity. It has a mild slick feel to it, strange, with fair bitterness that really ramps on the finish, gets a bit astingent, spicy grassy herbal hops lingering.

Mouth is med bod, a little slick slimy like thing feeling which is meh, lower carb too somehow.

Overall OK, but nothing great, decent malt profile that's a bit much for an IPA, hops are OK but not great, some weird esters I think come though with fruity notes and that slick feel.
