look: 4 | smell: 2.5 | taste: 2.5 | feel: 3 | overall: 2.5

Appearance: After a foamy spew from the bottle, the beer pours a cloudy copper color with a stiff head that leaves plenty of lace

Smell: Rather sweet, but with a distinct earthy pithiness; hard to describe as it is very different but not particularly appealing

Taste: A rush of almost medicinal bitterness flows over the tongue and, while there is a sweet malt undertone that registers on the palate, the profile is totally unbalanced both before and after the swallow

Mouthfeel: Full bodied and sticky, with moderate carbonation

Drinkability: Not quite sure whether this bottle was indicative as I have never tasted anything from this brewery before, but this beer was just not very enjoyable

A - Beautiful copper cloudiness

S - Definitely some distinct hops. Unlike many other IPA's i've smelled.

T - Sweet towards the end. Didn't really dig this that much.

M - Good. A little sticky.

All in all, not one of my favorite IPA's, but drinkable, for sure.

This is the regular IPA the NY hop harvest is the wet hop version.

A: Nice dark hazy copper color. About a finger and a half of white head with good lacing.

S: You can really smell the cascade hops in this one. There isnt really enough malt to balance the nose out but what is wrong with a hop dominant IPA?

T: A nice balanced IPA. It is really bitter but enjoyable. The malt is nice and sweet in the finish.

M: Little sticky in the body. Well carbonated for a growler fill.

D: I enjoy this beer. It is now in bottles which is nice. On tap is even better though. A great local beer.
