Pours a decent fizzy almost fluffy 1 finger head that fades at a med pace, nice soapy lacing too, hazy reddish orange amber color.

Nose brings earthy grassy hops, a touch of an orange peel, bit floral and fruity too, eventually floods the fruity faint citrusy hop note. Mild sweet malt base, touch of fruity esters I think.

Taste brings a mild grainy sweet malt to start, reddish amber malt and a bit toasty and grainy, a bit smooth and rich though. Then hops, herbal earthy hops, a faint spicy, bit leafy and quite grassy too. It has a mild citrus peel as well, and touch fruity. It has a mild slick feel to it, strange, with fair bitterness that really ramps on the finish, gets a bit astingent, spicy grassy herbal hops lingering.

Mouth is med bod, a little slick slimy like thing feeling which is meh, lower carb too somehow.

Overall OK, but nothing great, decent malt profile that's a bit much for an IPA, hops are OK but not great, some weird esters I think come though with fruity notes and that slick feel.

Im sampling a cellar temp bottle poured into a mug. Beer has been in my cellar for about a year.
Pours a clear chestnut hue and a slightly frothy beige head of 3 cm foams up and fades to a thick surface foam with a few larger bubbles mixed throughout. Some windowpane lattice after each sip.
The aroma is some husky malt and a bit of biscuit, this rolls to a floral hop presence and light pine. I suspect the nose may have faded a little, but the beer still smells pretty nice.

First sip reveals an average body with fine rolling carbonation that is gentle as it coasts across my palate.

Flavor is caramel and some grainy malt and then some dry bitter hits with citrus rind and some pine sap. I also get a little black peppery alcohol sneaking in, which I didnt expect.

The beer i very drinkable and may have been a little more hoppy fresh, but there is still a decent astringent bitterness on each sip.
No flaws and a well made IPA, without being over the top in booze or hops.
