When I first got into good beer which was to me more than just having the family staple of Fosters or Heineken I went to Bevmo on Fridays for the tasting sessions. I met some great guys over there. Mike, Matt, Alex and Steve are always willing to chat and have a new beer to try or if I come in with a beer I want to try and they dont have it they probably know where to get it. The selection is pretty good but it can be sometimes hit or miss if a shipment doesn't come in. But they are now carrying Great Divide so makes me happy if they could get some more Bruery items so I didnt have to drive into the OC it would be even better. I will say for a corporate store they aren't that bad and being about a block from my house its the go to store for me.

I first started going to BevMo when I got into craft beer as it was the only place my friends and I knew of that had a good selection.

The staff has generally been friendly. I was used to just walking in a being greeted kindly. However, recently they have begun to be rather aggressive as far as carding people immediately upon entry. This isn't a problem for me, but since I have been without a car for awhile, I sometimes have to get a ride with a roommate or friend who isn't 21. They do not seem to care or understand this. That's a big knock, in my opinion, as I've never had this problem at other stores.

The selection is pretty good, definitely a lot better than you can find most other places in the area. Decent mix of American craft and imports. A better wine selection, though.

Overall, if you don't know of any other places to buy beer in the area, you should stop here.

My buddy introduced me to BevMo over a series of beer field trips from school (Cal Poly Pomona, that is, not high school). There is just nothing like it where I live in the high desert. I'm lucky to get a few of the more popular Stone products and that's it.

So, back to this BevMo. Awesome! Tons of Stone products. Grabbed some Oaked AB for the first time. Fair selection of Alesmith and Port breweries and all kinds of off the wall stuff. They only had two Russian River products in the whole store: 2 bottles of Damnation. Guess where they are now.

They have a keg list so I tried to order a pony keg of Alesmith X for my birthday next week. Might've hit a wall. There was management involvement and confusion. Basically, they told me they haven't ordered that in two years and don't know if they can still get it. Hey, that's cool, just take it off your damn list bobo! I hate getting all excited and then kicked in the balls. Well, sometimes I like it, but this time I didn't.

Still a great place. I'll be back, again and again and...

Of the 5 bevmos I've been to this is I think the 2nd best, just behind the new one in Glendora. They have 4 aisles of beer (including the section dedicated to thr big breweries). I can always find something that I want and something that I haven't had before. My only problem with their selection is that they don't really specialize in any one type of beer, they just have a little of everything.

The service is pretty good. They always try to help and they usually don't leave you standing around looking confused for long. The only catch is that most of them don't know much about beer. They leave all the purchasing to the one beer guy and he really only knows what hes tried at the store. But aside from that everyone there is pretty helpful.

If you are looking for something specific, ask someone to look it up in the computer because sometimes they can order stuff that they don't normally carry.

Note: the only difference I see in this Bev Mo, as compared to the others I've been in, is the rate of turnover seems greater due to slightly higher customer volume. Seasonal beers can go quick....

Beverages and more has to be one of the leading places to find craft, import, or seasonal beers. Obviously the store caters to a wide variety of alcoholic beverages, but the four isles dedicated to beer shine through. There is a nice cold selection along with the warm shelves as well. The aisles are divided into American Micro, then continue to section off according to country. Belgium, Germany, India, Russia, England, Thailand, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, Austria, Poland, China, Japan....and many more. The store carries beers from four different authentic Trappist breweries. That works for me. The US micro section is not to be overlooked. It takes up the majority of the set, and has enough choices to keep your thirst quenched for a long, long, time....Good Drinking.

this bevmo is my "home location." they have a decent selection of belgians (which is my forte). if at this location and you see a special or rare brew my only advise would be to buy the entire stock. many times i've seen a good belgian and get a few bottles and come back the following week to find out it's all gone. same goes for the germans (especially celebrator). just prepared to buy up.

also with all bemvo's you can check their stock online first (select "pick up" and choose state/city"). on my last visit online showed 12 bottles of affligem noel. i went to the store right away and could not find it on the shelf. well, the case was up on the rack and of course i bought all 12 bottles they had. so, checking online is always good before showing up at any bevmo.

This BevMo is a bit hard to find since it is tucked in the back of the shopping mall (north of Costco). They have the usual good selection of local craft brews. I was happy to see Westmalle, Orval, and Duvel there along with Rochfort 8. I didn't expect these. My only knock on the place is that most of their beer (probably 80%) is stored on shelves and not refrigerated. But they have 3 entire racks (front and back) dedicated to good beer. On my last visit to this BevMo I picked up Hopzilla, some Alesmith, 2005 Old Guardian, and Bison Belgian. Prices were reasonable. Not super cheap but not overpriced either. BevMo is always a reliable stop when I'm looking for the newest Stone releases.

BevMo is the best liquor/beer/drink store in southern california as far as I'm concerned. This Chino Hills location has a wide selection of craft beers, as well as sections for imported beers, separated by country. Most of the beer is on shelves but there are some in the fridge along the back wall. The store is devoted 3/6 to wine, 2/6 to Liquor, and 1/6 to beer. It is very big though, so even that percentage of the store holds plenty of beer, and most importantly a ton of craft beer. The only knock I have on the Chino Hills location is that it seems a little messier than the new one that opened up in Rancho Cucamonga.

This particular BevMo is located at the north end of a large mall complex just off the 71 Fwy in Chino Hills. Parking is plentiful and the interior design is similar to every other BevMo I've been in: liquor warehouse.
On entering, turn left and end toward the left rear corner to find the beer aisles. Once there, you'll find a wide selection of West Coast breweries represented along with a smattering from the midwest and east coast. The foreign beer selection seemed to be a bit lacking compared to other BevMo's but still has some quality items available. I ended up walking out with a sixer each of Alaskan's ESB and Summer Ale.
The service was in between, also. Indifferent would be the word that best described the service here. No one asking if I needed any help finding something (I was there nearly 20 minutes) or if I had any trouble finding something when I went through the check-out.
This BevMo is the closest to my house now, barely beating out their Brea store. However, I'm partial to the Brea store as their selection is a bit more diverse and the staff more helpful. Nonetheless, you can find a lot at BevMo.
