Served in a pint glass at Red Star. The color was a dark amber, with a nice white head. The smell was a fairly sweet dark malt. The taste was a very grassy hop, and seemed to be fairly dry for an ESB....couldn't really notice much of the malt at all. Mouthfeel was average. As for drinkability, could have a few.
Once again, Jeff comes through with a solid offering of a great style. Though a bit hoppier than I'm used to with an ESB, it's still something I'd likely have again in the future.

Appearance: Deep amber ruby red cream colored head leaves chunks of evenly spread lacing. Aroma: A caramel malty mix of grassy hops some fuggles and other English hops noticeable solid bitterness this one is hopped up, yeah boy. Taste: Caramel sweet some eathy hops perfect for the style but just a tad more hop bitterness than a traditional ESB it's like Stoudt's Scarlet Lady on cask very creamy and smooth texture. Mouthfeel: Medium bodied creamy texture nice slow even carbonation. Drinkability: Another winner wow, there was not a bad beer to be drank at the Red Star another solid offering great beer.

British pub patrons would turn into hooligans to get their lips on this ale. Pours a lovely chestnut brown with a long lasting tan head that produces a sticky lace. This E.S.B. has a rich, malty body, with a touch of caramel and some subtle roasted grains. Everything comes together in a balanced brew that has outstanding drinkability. Hops cuts through the malt and sharpens the finish in this outstanding representation of the British style.
