Perfectly balanced old English Style Pale Ale. Color is a cross between gold/copper. Somewhat floral aroma. Substantial feel but not heavy. Smooth taste start to finish. This is the beer that got me into craft beers 20+ years ago and I still love it.

I had the "six shooter sampler" at Silver City Restaurant and Brewery. This was one of the six. For whatever reason (small servings, straight glasses, environment, etc.) detecting the smells of these beers was difficult. Also, the heads had receded by the time the waitress brought the glasses to the table, decreasing my enjoyment of the appearance. With all of this in mind . . .
A - clear golden/amber color
S - weak presence of flowery hops
T - light malt flavor overpowered by nuts and flowery hops
M - light-medium body; medium carbonation
O - This is a decent pale ale. The hop flavor is very good, but it could use more malt for a slightly better balance.

Poured a goldish color with little carbonation and a boring look. Nose is so weak I cant tell you anything. Taste is pretty bland. Some hops, light floral and just not very good. Light bitterness on the end. Mouthfeel is pretty weak, light sting of booze and feel of hops.
Pass.

not a huge head, but a nice clean pale beer, although appearingly overcarbonated.
smell is clean, with a hoppy quality and some swetness.
taste is nice, albeit modest. Smooth and malt flavor but not sweet. Tasty and extremely drinkable. This was our favorite on a hot day at the brewery, and it is tasty now in the cooler weather at home.
a flatly consistently tasty beer.

I had a pint of Clear Creek Pale Ale at the brewery.
Appearance was a dull bronze color and hazy. The bee was served with no head.
Smell is faint and floral, I guess.
Taste is sweet, a malty brew with some ginger spice flavor. Very mild bitterness.
Mouthfeel is thin and a little watery.
Drinkability is OK. It's not offensive, and should appeal to a broad range of patrons, but it is not a great pale ale.

A: Pours a slightly cloudy orange color, small white head, good lacing down the glass
S: Really not much here, very faint scent of hops
T: Slight malt followed by harsh bitterness of Chinook hops. Leaves you with a bitter beer face.
M: Good mouthfeel, carbonated just about right. Slightly dry aftertaste
D: East Kent Golding/Chinook hop combo, very interesting. For some reason its not happening for me though, much too bitter, not balanced out very well. Probably has a lot to do that I'm not the biggest fan of Chinooks.

House yeasts dominate the character of Silver Citys regular pale ale. The aroma is meaty and the taste is strongly defined by yeasted elements, with a shadowy sweetness slammed shut by screen door bittering.
Clear Creek is a pretty beer of copper clarity and good splotchy lace, and it warms well in the glass. But the strong yeasted component did not win my favor.

Appearance Nice, slightly cloudy orange with a good white head that held for a few minutes.
Smell For a pale ale this thing sure has a lot of sweet malt. The caramel and maple especially are huge here.
Taste Im not sure what to make of this one. There are some hops in there but I cant pick them out. Then theres the sweet malt. Go figure. After that comes a tart and tangy finish.
Mouthfeel The one good point about this ale is that it is creamy smooth. Its light/medium body glides past the cheeks in a very pleasant way.
Drinkability This was .26 gallons worth of pure work to get down.
