Dream Machine, an India Pale Lager or IPL, is a melding of varied visions of an India Pale Ale and an Amber Lager. Once poured, its light copper color delights the eyes and a citrusy hop aroma flows through the nose. Upon first sip, a smooth hop bitterness reveals itself – fresh, bold and slightly spicy – before subtle hints of mild maltiness appear. A big hop bite and a crisp, clean lager finish combine for a beautifully balanced beer. Take Dream Machine for a spin and let your reverie begin.

From the 12 fl. oz. bottle no. B204++-1257-1354. Sampled on April 2, 2014.
Attractive medium amber pour with a modest off-white head that fades to a ring. Good clarity.
The citrus hop character tends to be the first sensation on the nose but after some further investigation I pick up the basic amber caramel malt character of a lager. Mellow overall.
Medium body.
The taste is in the opposite order with a quick introduction of sweet, caramel malts and then an eruption of citrus hops to finish it off. But altogether it is entirely smooth. Fairly drinkable.

Undated bottle into pint glass. Pours a hazy amber with a solid eggshell-white head. Initial impression is pine hops, nice malt backbone, touch of citrus. Medium mouthfeel; refreshing carbonation. Slightly bitter finish. Very drinkable. Kind of like a mellow IPA.

Aroma: Pine, hops, citrus. Appearance: light orange, clear. Wispy, white head. Taste: a touch smokey, crisp , hoppy Pine aftertaste. Goes down easy and quickly. Feel: light, airy, medium carbonation. A very drinkable IPL."
