The result of mystical exhortation and strange portents in the sky, Humble Patience was complex without being heavy...a marriage of many riches. An Irish-Style, deep-ruby Red Ale with tantalizing layers of flavor.

Beer poured a reddish copper color with a medium off-white head. Some sweetness and floral overtones were evident in the aroma. The beer was slightly thin bodied, but the flavor was decent with some fruitiness that was unexpected. The bitterness seemed just right for a red ale, and the carbonation was a little weak. Very drinkable, even though the malts could be slighlty more prominent.

Catch up rating form notes, 2012: Bottle from my brother-in-law (this is back in the day when Magic hat was a big deal). Medium dark amber, small foamy head. Aroma is malty, slightly ashy, roasty malts. Taste is more of the malts, not sweet, but nutty and dry. Decent consistency and feel.
