Notes / Commercial Description:
A beer cloaked in secrecy. An ale whose mysterious and unusual palate will swirl across your tongue and ask more questions than it answers. A sort of dry, crisp, refreshing, not-quite pale ale. #9 is really impossible to describe because there's never been anything else quite like it.

Sample: 1 bottle 2012

A: "Not quite pale ale," but in all seriousness, light orange-yellow, every so slightly hazy, pours a very tiny foamy head which quickly dissipates, extremely light internal carbonation

S: Citrus fruits, apricot (of course), papaya, mild coriander, quite fruity and decently fragrant

T: Much in tune with the nose, definitely fruity, tropical citrus, incredibly mild herbal undertones with a bit of a buttery finish

M: Decently smooth, but not surprising given the style and low abv, a nice light fruity aftertaste that doesn't overstay its welcome and certainly does not dry out the palate

O: A perfect summer drinking brew, light and fruity with a nice fragrance, nothing out of the ordinary, however

Pours a hazy golden amber with a white head that quickly dissipates.

In the nose is a floral citrus, sweet grain- wheat, and apricot.

Mildly bitter citrus up front followed by a nutty malt mouthfeel, ending with a kiss of apricot. Nothing too complex, but for what it is, it is a good crisp refreshing beer.
