What I had: Humdinger Series Over the Pils, Rousing Root, Blind Faith, Elder Betty, and Circus Boy on tap. Also bought a tulip glass for the hotel room.
What I liked: The high-energy tour is a lot of fun as the guide mixes random facts about the company with zingy one-liners, and the brewery is unique in that it resembles a haunted house. The schwag selection is pretty impressive too.
What I disliked: The beers are wholly unexciting and leave a lot to be desired. It’s a good thing they were free with the tour because none of them stood out for me (yes, they’re that mediocre). In hindsight the only reason we visited this place was because it was across the street from our hotel. Prior to discovering that we had no plans of hitting Magic Hat.
Would I go back? The tour is worthwhile if you happen to be in South Burlington, just don’t expect to be wowed by the beers.

Went there with my wife and dogs in the fall of 2019. The place is really cool. Staff was friendly and kind to our dogs. Only negative was they were out of 3 of their beers on tap.

Looks a bit like a 70´ disco but the beers and wines are pretty good. Huge taproom and restaurant. Always worth a visit. The staff is attentive and friendly.

Cool atmosphere with a funky feel that makes you forget your at bar but actually experimenting with magical tonics and herbal solutions in the dank chambers of a medieval court wizard.

I stopped in here yesterday just because we drove by and I had font memories of when I used to seek out their beer. The building is the same as I remember fairly industrial with merchandise for sale and a self guided tour behind glass. Sampling station with a couple of odd beers you wont find in the store at least in NH Its a weird cool kind of place but I'm kind of over their beer so no real reason to stop again other than nostalgia. PS Meat Whistle or Thumbsucker should be beers you brew again IMHO!

Great outside and inside, but sorely lacking good beer.

Super creative, visually stimulating vibe; much like their labels. A carnival. Really fun.

One of the first breweries I ever went to, I still like the vibe they have there with the black lights and florescent colors all over the place. The selection is pretty good from the times I've stopped in. The Service is decent.

This is a fun brewery. Free samples, free tours, and pleasant service. Fun, but the quality isn't tops. Still, they usually have one or two fairly good beers on tap. Overall worth going to if your taking a trip to Burlington.
