This is my favorite kick back and relax light Summer beer. It is simple, light, but still manages enough taste to remind me that I'm not drinking junk. Incredibly refreshing. Nice thick head, no lace. I don't care for citrusy summer beers and this one hits the spot when I am looking for something lighter.

Growler picked up at the brewery.

Poured into 08 Pioneer glass stein #42, formed a 3/4" off-white head over the clear golden brew. Head falls slowly, with lasting sticky lace. Aroma is fresh peppers with a lightly sweet undercurrent. Taste is malty to start, pepper comes on in the middle, and carries through to the cleanly hoppy close. Pepper character is more about the flavor, and less about the burn, which is fine with me. Mouthfeel is soft over the tongue, smooth, and drinkability is great. Interesting spin on their Blonde.

Light gold color and clear. No head nor any lace.

Light malt aroma with a touch of cream. No hop.

This a refreshing, full bodied law mower beer. Highly carbonated. Short aftertaste of pale malt and lactose (slightly soured). Again, no notable hop but the beer seems balanced (ie not too sweet).

Had this at the Brewery. Quite frankly, its not my style. Far to bland for me but my wife and especially my daughter-in-law loved it and BOTH are not beer drinkers per se. I've sampled far worse Blondes.

A very drinkable golden ale with a hint of toasted malt character and a clean finish. This light bodied golden colored American Blonde Ale is smooth and easy drinking.

Consumed 5/24/13

Note: 500mL swing-top bottle

Appearance: Clear gold, with some pale straw - pours with a big, fluffy head, probably the result of massive carbonation - keeps a cap, leaves some streaks of lacing

Smell: Bready, grainy, with a nice level of hoppiness - reminiscent of a recently sliced loaf of light bread, surrounded by undercooked biscuits - floral and grassy hops, mild, which balances the mild malts - some herbal and citrus, too

Taste: Pleasantly mild and quaffable - bready, as in biting into a slice of bread, with some pale grains - interesting hop profile, with some herbal, earthy, citrus, and light fruit - mild bitterness

Mouthfeel: Great carbonation on the tongue (lower than the initial pour), light, clean, finishes very dry

Overall: The sand from the beach really makes this special

Blonde ales don't exactly generate much buzz. Probably because so many of them are actually crap... This is definitely above-average for the style. Very light, extremely drinkable, with some nice flavors. I would drink this again.

Taste mild toasted sweet blond malt, hint grassy hop and a little fruity, touch grass straw, fairly light, touch bitterness especially a weird nagging bitterness

Mouth is med to lighter bod, s decent carb

Overall not bad, a bit on the lighter side but good summer blonde

Growler filled at brewery. Poured into a pint glass. Pours a crystal clear, golden yellow. Pour produces about one finger of bright, white head. Not much retention and little lacing. Some rising bubbles.

Some bready malt aromas. Slightly fruity as well. Nothing too strong.

Follows pretty close to the nose. Bready and malty. A touch of bittering hops. I'm picking up a bit of herbal tea-like hops near the finish.

Light to medium bodied. Medium carbonation, but relatively creamy.

This is very easy to drink, but no overpowering flavors or aromas. Very smooth. This is my least favorite beer from CCB that I have had so far, but that just speaks to the quality of their other offerings. I do understand that this is very popular among many of their customers.

Consumed 6/24 at the Hyannis British Beer Company
Served in a pint

A: This beer pours a crystal clear golden color, no head and no real lacing to speak of.

S: Nose is grainy, biscuity with a mild fruitiness.

T: Taste starts very somewhat grainy and a more hearty breadiness moves in. A slight fruitiness comes in through the middle though I can't quite identify what type of fruit. Finish has a bit of citrus and a bit of herbal tea taste to it.

M: Lighter bodied, medium to high carbonation, slick feel to the body.

O: Goes down easily, tasty, not too filling, mild kick, nice representation of style. I've not had many blonds. It just doesn't seem to be a beer people make in the Northeast, but this was a nice offering that I could sit with for an entire evening!

Had at BBC--Cedarville--served into a pint glass

Appearance: 1/4 inch head, gold in color, clear, moderate carbonation

Smell: toasted malt, grass, and hops

Taste: grass is dominant, with some citrus hops, and bready maltiness

Mouthfeel: moderate carbonation, light bodied, sweet with underlying bitterness

Overall: A very solid beer that reminds me of a cape summer. I could put away a couple. Nothing mind-blowing but very clean and solid.

A: Golden yellow color with a very light haze. Poured a small foamy white head that dissipated to a skim around the edge. Lightly decanted. Laced in broken rings.

A: Biscuity malt. Citrus rind and light fruit.

T: Biscuity malt; lightly sweet, but not cloying. Light and smooth through a low, even bitter.

M: Light body. Moderate carbonation. Clean and refreshing finish without too much of a aresidual sweetness.

D: Very drinkable. Nice effort in what can be an unspectacular style.

Received a deep gold pint with a foamy white head. Some lacing.

Light malt aromas, with some raw green vegetable scents. Perhaps some raw grain.

A clean refreshing lighter brew, with the appropriate amount of bready and light grain flavors, with some light herbal bitterness lightly bitter finish. Nothing exceptional, but highly refreshing.

Lighter bodied, but something there too. Nice carbonation. Little creamy.

Overall, great for a hot day. Mild to the point where you'd want much more from this, I can see 2 pints in a row at the pub, but no way I'd get a growler. Decent for the style.
