Received as an extra.

A - Poured into a Kate the Great tulip a crystal clear honey hue with some thin head that faded to leave light wisps.

S - Aromas of sweeter malts, faint earthy hops. Caramel, sweet malts meh

T - Taste is malt bomb, caramel, cardboard, bitter. Really mediocre, just a bitter beer, nothing special here.

M - Mouthfeel is really not bad for the beer. Crisper, alcohol hidden.

O - Overall this beer, like most shorts beers, was awful.

I got this from a mixed Hoppy Holiday 12pck from Meijer's. It poured a clear copper with white head that is not leaving much lace. The scent is faint juicy fruit. The taste is nicely balanced between sweet maple malt and bitter hop that may leave pine hint on the back end.....with hints of alcohol. The Mouthfeel is fuller in body with good carbonation. Overall it's a good beer.

12 oz. bottle poured into a snifter.

Appearance - Pours without much of a head. Small white head. No collar. Just some surface wisps.

Smell - Musty. Lots of caramel malt. A little grapefruit.

Taste - Better, but tastes kinda old. Lots of sweet caramel malt. Grapefruit. Grassy bitterness.

Mouthfeel - Sweet. Medium heavy. Medium low carbonation.

Overall - Not sure about the age on this.

Appearance: dark orange, hazy, off white finger of frothy head.

Aroma: sweet malts, caramel, citrus, some pine resins, grapefruit.

Taste: caramel sweetness, citrus, pine, pineapple, strong booze.

Mouthfeel: full body, sticky.

Overall: nice, but a little boozy and sweet, and lacks the hop balance.
