This blessed, coppered colored ale lends its hue to hearty pale ale malts and hand selected specialty grains. Glacier hops balance the wort resulting in hoppy, and earthy flavors which compliment the core beer base.

12oz bottle into a cervoise appears a hazy copper color with a khaki colored head that fades leaving webby lacing.
Aroma is herbal and pine-like with slight citrus, fruit, pith and pulp. Not bad but not bright by any means either.
Taste brings much of the same hop character but with a firm caramel malt backing. There is an aftertaste to this that almost seems phenolic/smokey which is peculiar but the dominating flavors are hoppy bitterness.
Medium in body, modestly carbonated. Not bad, not good. I dont feel like I need to buy this again.

One of my favorite pale ales. I was sad to see this one go as a year round offering (although Space Rock, its replacement, is no slouch). Available again in the recent variety pack, this pale ale is a malty and slightly fruity quaffer that would welcome anytime. Pour is a hazy gold with a finger of white foam. Despite the label's warning, there isn't too much bitterness at all, and would probably be acceptable to most people who won't drink APAs or IPAs because they're "too hoppy".
