Pours a hazy dark copper with limited lacing. Smell is subtle ripe fruit. Taste is a nice combination of ripe mango, tart citrus and supporting malts. This a good and very drinkable double IPA.

Bottled 2/22/18
Paws out an amber color with some orange and reddish hues. The head is tall and monstrous. 2 finger wall.
Freshly peeled breakfast oranges on the nose. Slight honey-slathered biscuit. Has some of that odd Short's fruity yeast they use (soft parade, shortscake, etc). Slight sweat socks/gym bag.
Flavor has an oddity permeating it - a sourness, a chemical-ness...
I can only describe it as fresh motor oil. Beyond that, there's some grapefruit, blood orange, mandarin orange, and bitter peels. Some pine. Some herb. The motor oil aspect is really strange and throws everything else off.
Feel is creamy but also kinda chalky, a spicy carbonation, and a palatable heat.
Overall I probably won't finish this, but it has a cat on it, so I had to try it. First (and last) time for everything, right?

Poured from 12 oz bottle dated 2/22/2018. Cool artwork on the bottle.
A: Clear golden orange with two finger frothy white head. Lasting retention and chunky lacing.
S: Nice lunch of citrus as I popped the top. Candied oranges, red grapefruit, mango, and passion fruit. Dank hops.
T: Blood orange, red grapefruit, and guava providing a juicy citrus component. Piney resinous hops offering a healthy bitterness.
M: Medium body with average carbonation.
O: Very nice fruited DIPA.

Pours orange and light cloudy. Medium, bubbly Whitehead had that Fades fast.
Smells orange, candied orange, guava, tropical, citrus peel and dank.
Taste guava and sweet orange. Followed by grapefruit, citrus peel and light bready malt. Finishes drive with a citrus peel linger. Medium body and fizzy medium carbonation.

2018 edition 9.7abv with 70ibu's coming from their website. 12 oz. bottle marked PKG022218 08:28:31 poured heavily into my "the cove" Leland, MI pint glass.
Appearance- transparent amber color with the slightest off white maybe yellowish head. leaves nice amount of lacing.
Aroma- citrus hops with some orange. I dig it.
Taste- like the smell. malt is the slightest bit of a graham cracker taste but mostly blasted by some citrus and resiny hop notes. alcohol is well hidden.
Mouthfeel- medium/ heavy body. good carbonation.
Drinkability- wouldn't mind picking up another six of this real soon.
Overall- 2018 edition is solid. the blood orange and guava are there but it's not overkill. if you want a citusy (orange) hop flavored ipa this is your beer.

12 ounce bottle into a tulip snifter. Bottled 2/8/17, had 3/16/17.
Pours a bright, somewhat hazy orange, with a half inch foamy head and a good amount of foamy lacing. The smell is tropical and citrus hops- strong guava, blood orange, pineapple, some grapefruit, a good amount of pine, some yeast. Aromas fade throughout. The flavor continues the strong guava, then grapefruit, some blood orange, less pine than the nose. Good malt backbone, good amount of resiny bitterness on the finish. Smooth, good medium body, well carbonated.
Great guava aroma and flavor, good hop/malt balance, very enjoyable. Worth a purchase the next time it comes around.

Picked up a single at The Keg, New Albany IN.
A: Pours with a nice half inch head, lots of carbonation bubbling up, reddish deep gold, lacing holds on the glass.
S: Blood orange, grapefruit, floral. Very nice.
T: Guava, blood orange is clear and better than others of the breed I have had, orange zest, medium sweet, light yeast, floral and hoppy on a dry finish but fruit carries the whole way. Really hides the ABV, dangerous.
M: Medium carbonation and mouth. A little bit of oil. Pretty clean, goes well over the tongue, very drinkable.
O: One of the top 3 fruited pale ales I have had, and so very smooth for the 9% ABV. I've often complained these blood orange IPA's just don't deliver on the blood orange, but this one does and does so prominently. Add in the perfect balance of floral hops and a clean finish that hides the booze and this one is a winner.
