Slurm Lord is a double New England style India Pale Ale brewed with oats and a blend of Citra, Azacca, Amarillo, Galazy, and Mosaic hops. We’re excited to say that the brewing of Slurm Lord employs the largest dry hop to date in SBC history! Deep orange in color with a permanent haze and a minimal head, a glass of Slurm Lord resembles a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice. Aromas of dank passion fruit, mango, and pineapple are accompanied by bold flavors of citrus. This medium-bodied India Pale Ale is incredibly juicy from start to finish. A final sip leads into a slight, warming bitterness.

12 fl. oz can
Served in a stemless wine glass
This beer pours yellow and turbid. It is topped with a couple inches of beige head that leaves spotty lacing.
It has a lovely tropical fruit aroma that is complimented by grapefruit and pine.
The taste is tropical fruit with the aforementioned grapefruit. I get a little malty flavor in the aftertaste. There is a slight bitterness in the finish.
Medium bodied with a bit of a gritty mouthfeel
It is an alright NEIPA. I have had it on draft and now in the can. There are better options, but I would not hesitate to drink a freebie.

Slurming it with the rest of us, all of us hop heads are stuck in this bitter pond all together. But one beer rises above the rest. Short's highly hopped imperial-status, New England-styled IPA uses the elite hops of Citra, Azacca, Amarillo, Galazy, and Mosaic in hopes of separating from the pack.
Caught somewhere between taupe and orange, Slurm Lord releases both a frothy bone-white froth and a heavy citrus bouquet. With an undercurrent of pastry malts, the hops mingle on the nose with a backdrop of tropical fruit, stone fruit, herb, pine and orchard fruit. Sweeter in taste, the cereal-rich malts bring about notions of pastry dough, honey and poundcake.
One the hops latch on, the middle palate is all about total hop saturation as the flavors of red grapefruit, tangerine and lime come from the citrus contingent while the tropical flavors seem of passionfruit, mango, papaya and pineapple. With hints of blueberry, apricot, banana and peach dancing about the peripheries of taste, the full and fruity hop display is complete. Trending gently bitter, the late palate sees a herbal character of green tea, hemp and fresh cedar to round out the IPA spectrum.
Medium bodied and trending malty-dry, the richer beer keeps its malt starches around for a growing cereal balance even late in the session. With a mild alcohol spice seeming vodka-like, the dryness eventually wins out and allows the fruity bitterness to linger deeper with the after palate.

This really isn't a New England Style. It is lacking the citrus juice bomb flavors. It is hazy as all get out though.
However it is tasty. Lots of pine, some biscuit notes and a hint of tropical fruits.
