Canned 4/29/22; drank 8/13/22 @ the Yarchives.
Cloudy golden appearance.
A violent pour yielded a HUGE, noisy eggshell head; strong, frothy tree-rung lace.
Peach, apple cider & cream notes in the nose.
Creamy medium mouthfeel.
Cream, peach & apple cider flavors; mild booze heat emerged as this warmed.
A big, tasty summer treat. I'd have another!

Appearance - The golden orange appearance reminded me of a pitch. They were even red hues. A nice white head topped the pour.
Smell - Overripe peaches led the nose with a strong lactose presence.
Taste - shorts mailed this one. There was a lot of peaches in the initial taste which was finished with creamy lactose. I even detected notes of cinnamon. The base beer contributed a little bitterness at the finish.
Overall - This has been on my wishlist since 2014. I believe it was worth the wait.

Head isn't a problem for this beer as four fingers of biscuity tan fluff is easily achieved. Fades slowly and turns rocky leaving waves and dots of lace. Body is a murky copper color. Nose brings with it zesty yet creamy peach notes that is attractive without being ridiculous. The smell really is very nice. The first thing you get with this one is that initial bite of peach with slightly tart peach skin and a dry fruit feel. Peaches continue to dance across the tongue when they are joined with a soft hop fel that adds just the right amount of balance. Creaminess does start to develop as the beer warms bit, it becomes almost sweet bread like on the mouthfeel. Mouthfeel is really big. This is a super drinkable beer, oh so fresh and unique. Shorts shows again what a cool, fun thing beer can be.

Not digging it. Too sweet, minimal head and a bit disappointing overall.

This was just too sticky sweet for my tastes. I'm OK with many of Short's "unique" beers and a number of their fruit beers, but not this.

Wish Short's had this around more often! Just a killer Fruity ABV bomb!
