Bottled on 4/13/20. 12oz bottle poured into a tulip. Pours a hazy golden; big rocky and chunky white head that sticks around leaving great thick retention and very sticky and frothy lacing. The aromas are floral along with some citrus and tropical notes. Some fresh bread and crackers. Malts are there. The flavors follow the nose perfectly. Hints of orange, grapefruit, peach and apricot. Some pine and fresh grass. Some soap. Very solid bitterness. Malts do their thing without dominating. Finishes dry although it's slightly juicy. Alcohol basically goes unnoticed for the most part. Mouthfeel is very nice. It's on the lighter side of full-bodied with active carbonation. It's sharp, fluffy and smooth.
This is a pretty solid IPA. Very nice hop bitterness. It's bold, clean and even refreshing. It's more on the classic, traditional and old school side of the style, but in a good way. The craftsmanship is on point. Well done. It's enjoyable and fun to drink. I really like it.

12oz bottled 10/19/18 (7 weeks ago) poured into a Spiegelau IPA glass at fridge temp, 7.8% ABV 99 IBU per website. The beer pours mostly bright golden orange in color with sticky off white head. The head recedes to a splotchy cap and leaves a wall of lacing. The aroma is grapefruit and grapefruit peel. The taste is mostly big dank and bitter throughout. There may be a hint of lemon at first and traces of honey malt before the bitterness takes over. The mouthfeel is medium to thin bodied, adequately carbonated and dry in the finish. Overall, good. This is pretty one dimensional. If you like to be smacked in the mouth with dank bitterness, here's your beer.

Poured into a Thirsty Monk snifter. Bottleneck says 08/26/16.
A- Pours a semi-hazy medium amber color with a 1/2 inch off-white head that retains well before becoming a thick ring around the edge of the glass and a large center patch of bubbly surface foam.
S- Earthy, piney hop nose with a bit of a booze fume.
T- Assertive bitterness right off the bat with resinous piney qualities in the hop flavor. There's also a decent amount of complementary malt sweetness. Also notes of grapefruit peel.
M- Very sharp from the hops with medium carbonation and a body leaning toward the lighter side.
O- This is one aggressive IPA. Overall, pretty good but it's taking me a bit to finish the six-pack.
