Hopstache is an American IPA brewed with real grapefruit zest. Made with Amarillo, Citra, and Simcoe hops, this beer has aromas of dank citrus and pine. An initial sweetness is balanced with flavors of grapefruit and zest. The finish is intense and dank with little bitterness.

Update 3/23/23:
March 2023 Specialty Release - 6 pack
12 oz. can dated 030323 (3/3/23) - 6.8% ABV / 70 IBU
Brewed and canned in Elk Rapids, MI
Poured into a Bell's branded tulip snifter glass
Look - Pours a fluffy and dense white head that sticks around and leaves lacing. Slightly cloudy, golden amber appearance. 5/5
Smell - The scent is a faint grapefruit citrus and not much else. It's very muted. 3.75/5
Taste - The taste is mostly bitter grapefruit that hits you upfront, and then it fades into a malty aftertaste. 3.75/5
Feel - Thin bodied with a semi-crisp mouthfeel and finishes dry. 3.75/5
Overall - This is mostly a bitter bomb with not many other flavors to speak of. 3.75/5

Very nice offering from this great local brewery. Nice golden-orange slightly hazy color with some mild head and lingering lacing. Smells mainly of floral hops, but tastes of more citrus zest hops with that characteristic bitterness. I can make out grapefruit, orange and papaya, maybe a trace of mango. Also some nice weaker floral hops, bread and malt to nbalance everything out. Nice smooth mild finish and mouthfeel. Good amount of carbonation. Highly recommend!
