Pours gold with a shade of orange and a touch of chill haze.
Citrus fruit and floral/herbal hop notes.
Aroma translates directly to flavor with citrusy and floral hop notes dominating.
Light-bodied, medium-high carbonation, crisp, crushable.
Overall, a highly crushable brew but a little lackluster.

Fantastic head retention and Belgian lace, a touch murky, great color for a pale ale, not too light
Mostly floral hops on the nose, with a touch of earth and the smallest hint of citrus. Smells like the hop harvest at my house this year.
Light mouth feel, just a touch lighter than I prefer in an IPA (but I like porters and browns best so, grain of salt).
Hop forward taste, maybe 60% floral taste on the front, but definite earthy tones on the back end. Maybe some citrus up front, but I'm having a hard time getting it, its almost immediately lost in the other flavors. The smallest bit of acrid hop build as you drink, but it hits a plateau almost immediately. Good for continued quaffing.
Overall: Not my favorite. Though I love Shorts as a brewery, much better IPAs/APAs are made here in Michigan, and at Shorts for that matter.

Pours light orangeish gold. Thick, short, white head fades fast. Very light lacing.
Smells citrus peel, earthy, dank, floral and malt.
Tastes bready malt, citrus peel, piney and light earthy. Finish is dry with a long highly bitter pine and citrus peel linger. Lighter medium body and fizzy medium carbonation.

Tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a 12 fl oz bottle on April 9, 2017. Bottled on 03/07/17. Look is hazy bright gold with a thick white head and sticky lacing. A decent light bodied IPA.
