Random grab. Love the retro lable . Classic Megaman shooting at space invaders? Yes please.

Look - Deep honey golden hue with a huge, frothy white head that dies slowly. Carbonation is low and the lacing is immaculate upon a finished glass.

Smell - Hop oils really dominate this scent with a moderate level of toasted pine apple. A touch of cat but not enough to throw you off.

Taste - Yep, hop oils dominate everything that is going on here. Alcohol soaked grapefruit piths with touches of grilled pineapple. Alcohol adds a touch more fullness and really compliments the flavors. Touches of Belgian yeast that stick around in the background.

Feel - Sweet and sticky with low carbonation. Flavors retain the same and the alcohol never once dominates but instead compliments as it sits around.

Overall - If Hopslam and Palate Wrecker had a baby taking the best of both worlds from each respective beer, this would be the end result. Easy, slow drinking at the high ABV. Definitely a fantastic, top tier DIPA.

Pours medium amber with a medium sized white head head that is short lived. Leaves lighter lacing

Smells of citrus and Belgian yeast slight malt

Tastes at first like Belgian then fades to citrus hops with light malt. Finish is dry medium body and medium carbonation.

Unique beer style

Heavy dankness from the hops, aroma is of floral notes and citrus.... Taste is orange, tangerine, grapefruit...Bitterness is on the forefront with underlying notes of sweetness from the malt with a spicy note and dry finish most likely from the Belgian yeast.

Had last year and really liked it. Decided to try again this year since shorts decided to up the alcohol content to 10 percent this year. I actually enjoyed last year's better. This was very boozy for 10 percent. Still an enjoyable offering. Not a huge fan of Belgium ipas but this along with flying dog raging bitch are 2 of my favorite for the style.

Lots of Belgian notes, wheat, banana, clove, grass, followed with nice floral hops.
