I recently placed an order with Freshops for the second time -the first time I placed a bulk leaf hop order and recently I purchased a couple rhizomes for planting.

I found the website to have improved since I first became aware of Freshops - the varieties of hops are listed alphabetically and pricing is easy to understand. I think the site could still some work on the user friendliness to save clicking back and forth, but I found it decent. I have not had any problems with packages -the quality of the product is very good. I ordered 12oz of Citra for my first experience and they came all in one package packed tightly which was nice.

I find they have very competitive pricing however the selection is basically whole leaf hops. They had a good variety of rhizomes to choose from so I ordered Newport and Santiam since I want to expand my knowlege of different hop varieties and Santiam was mentioned as being more disease resistant on the site. The service is very good - they communicate with you to let you know when the items will be/are shipped and I found a nice sheet of hop gardening information included with my rhizomes which is more than I got from my local homebrew shop.

I recommend Freshops for any kind of hop purchase and they have a good deal of hop history and links to help you with making the decision on what to grow or use for your homebrew.
