Appearance: Pours a cloudy apricot color with several inches of foam; decent lacing

Smell: Hop forward aroma, with an catty character redolent of hemp and pine

Taste: A bit of sweet malt, up front, and then we are off to the races, with a really bitter, vegetal combination of hemp and pine, that moves into the cat pee direction by mid-palate; the cat pee really dominates the finish

Mouthfeel: Medium to full body with moderate carbonation

Overall: Truly a hoppy West Coast style DIPA, but I am afraid that I just can't cozy up to the hop profile on this one; I prefer more citrus to my IPAs

Thanks, PretzelCity, for the opportunity

Poured chilled in standard ale glass @davewhite4.

A: decent head; dark copper color; low carbonation; ok lacing
S: earthy hop aroma; pancake and syrup smell
T: intense; very malty; overly sweet and very boozy; not my ideal IPA, but I can see how this would appeal to some people's ideals.

Good solid beer; glad that Rodman's had them stocked, and on sale.

Hazy amber color with beige head. Aroma has sweet tropical fruits like tangerine, ripe peach, overripe pineapple and also sweet malt. Taste starts with sweet malt, some fruity hops, but also some nasty stale note I get with some sips. Medium body with low to medium carbonation. Overall it's not really bad but it has some off-flavors and it's also a bit boozy.

Pours Slightly hazy orangish hue with a fizzy white head. Not alot of lacing left on the glass.

Smell is very resiny and slightly herbal with some nice pine notes. Citrus rind in the background.

This has a sweet malty backbone that fades into a dry crisp bitterness. Not over aggressive but it does have a nice bite and there is some slight alcohol heat in there as well. Pine and grass are the standout flavors.

Mouthfeel is a little thin and there's not a lot of carbonation here. I find myself wanting a little more bubbles. A refreshing beer that leaves a nice aftertaste.

A- looks great. Just how you want an ipa to be. I can tell this is going to be good carbonation just by the way it pours. Constant bubble.

S- it's def smells good to my taste. Lemon, grapefruit with some bread and malt. But nothing super impressive, and after reading the label I guess I expected more an I got. That is the only complaint tho

T- good powerful taste. Lemon pine and grapefruit coming in strong like it should. The biscuity malt taste comes in and adds a great profile to this beer. Nothing lingering that you don't like. And some people talk about it being too bitter. I think it's balanced great, strong but makes you want to come back and sip some more.

M - lots of bubbles and stayes nice and perked up the entire time I sipped on the pint
