Fresh at the source, not who knows how old and malty from an undated bottle.

Very good DIPA. Tropical cherry, strawberry & Orange starburst candy and sticky dank pine hops in the back. Dry in the finish. I would definitely have this again at the source or if assured a fresh bottle.

Solid stuff.

Pours a clear light amber color with a quickly fading white head that leaves chunks of lacing.

Smells of citrus and pine hops.

Tastes of the citrus hops with some malt undertones. Hops lead off with citrus and pine notes, but I also pick up a little vegetable-like notes that are not enjoyable. Fairly bitter overall. Hops lead into malt sweetness with some caramel along with toasted bread. Alcohol is well hidden.

Mouthfeel is medium with a slightly crisp amount of carbonation.

Overall, this is a decent IIPA, but the vegetable-like hops really hit a note I don't like.

Picked this up in the tickers BIF, poured from a bomber into a snifter. The pour is deep orange, 2 inch, sticky white head. Big grapefruit and pine on the nose. Juicey grapefruit, orange marmalade, hints of bitter pine are followed by lingering tropical fruit. The body is medium/full, good carbonation, sticky mouthfeel. A very enjoyable brew.

Burnished amber with a 1 finger ecru head which lasts for a spell leaving nice lacing.Definately effervescent.

Aroma is an equal blast of sweet malt and dank hops.

Taste is evenly balanced with the dank oily hops blended with a steep malt bill, with a touch of syrupy sweetness to it, certainly qualifies a big beer.A touch of booze is present, mostly in the throat. Moderate bitterness continually tempered by the malt sweetness.

Mouthfeel is slightly oily, a bit on the heavy medium side for the style, and slightly prickly carbonation. This one is a sipper, and the finish isn't even near dry.

Overall, those that appreciate big hops and equally big malt will appreciate this one. If a dry finish and tropical aroma/taste are important qualities to you, you might want to pass.
