Notes / Commercial Description:
Mountains of hops. Tropical and grapefruit aroma and flavor from Citra meld beautifully with lemon-lime and nectar fruit from New Zealand Motueka. Wheat and Pilsner malt keep the body light and refreshing so the hops can express themselves.

Had on tap. Pours an opaque orange with a one finger white head that left little lacing. Smell is on the mild side with citrus and tropical fruits along with a hint of malt. Tastes of grapefruit, lime, underripe mango, resin and some bready malts. Light to medium bodied, lightly carbonated, somewhat sticky mouth feel, moderately dry and bitter finish.

Purchased in a 4 pack of 16 ounce cans. Poured into a tulip glass. The smell is very sweet and tropical grapefruit. Very nice. It looks like cloudy fresh squeezed grapefruit juice with a very rough white attractive head that leave decent lacing. The taste is sweet and tropical. The same as it smells which honestly doesn't happen all that often. Sweet and tropical up front with just a little bitterness to the finish. It has a grapefruit rind mouth retention that is not too bitter or unpleasant. A top notch Vermont IPA.

Medium gold with an orange hue, just about opaque, with a few fingers of white foam on top... Lots of fresh, bright fruit impressions, from dry grapefruit to sweet stone fruit, with bright lime and green mango... Sweetness reigned in with a moderate bitterness... Full-feeling and soft - juicy but not in that fruit smoothie fashion... Features Citra and Motueka hops... No canning date, but based on the brewery's Instagram, I'm thinking this is from 6/4/18...

A: The beer is rather hazy yellow in color and has some amber hues. It poured with a short white colored head that died down, leaving a thin film of bubbles on the surface and a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of gooseberries and lime are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and is mostly dominated by flavors of gooseberries and has some hints of lime and grapefruit. There is a light amount of bitterness.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This IPA has interesting aromas and flavors of gooseberries. It also feels incredibly light in body and easy to drink for an Imperial IPA. As such it is extremely easy to drink.
