Style: American IPA

Alcohol by volume (ABV): 5.70%

Availability: Rotating

Notes / Commercial Description:
Our single hop wheat IPA, brewed with all Citra hops. Lighter in color and lower in a.b.v. than a typical American IPA, this beer has just the right amount of hop flavor and aroma. Completely satisfyingly awesome in its crispiness and well-rounded hopaliciousness. This beer might just be your Rushmore.

Huge carb, light and watery, a tad bland unfortunately. Tough to stack up against all the other great VT IPAs

Very light. Easy to drink but i did not feel like it had much of a body.

On tap at the pub on 10.13.07; served in a tumbler.

Pale wheat/light copper in color beneath a porous white head. Thin, ringed lacing with decent strength. Aromas of bright citrus, stiff astringent wheat, and a brief solvency. Flavors begin with a bright citrus quality: lemon, orange, yeast-filled grapefruit. Astringent and musty; the hop character's bottom falls out and the pale wheat character presents itself: watery, stiff wheat with a noticeable astringency. Off-bitterness with a weak, musty aftertaste. Light, medium in body with a carbonated feel. A strange concoction of a Pale Wheat Ale and a light IPA that translates more like a Pale Wheat with a touch of added hops. It also equals a brew that I won't be returning to.
